I think it might be a couple involved in comedy? Hence the 'nothing to laugh about here'. Unless she was just saying that in reference to the funny previous BI about Josh and Diane? I also don't think everyone would be sad about Sam Taylor-Wood and Aaron - Lainey, yes, but everyone? No. Plus I wouldn't say he's got hot all of a sudden. Likewise for Marion and Guillaume - he's always been attractive. I also wonder if they might be Canadian - hence the reference to maple syrup.

Oh my god what if it's Will Arnett and Amy Poehler? I hope not, but it might make sense, seeing as Will is Canadian (maple syrup) and Amy's character on Parks and Recreation eats a lot of waffles.
