I just thought of this while browsing Bal's website today..
Girls who have gotten Part Time with Giant Hardwares from T&D, do they have feet on them?
Bal stopped putting feet on their part time giant hardware bags starting FW2008, so I wanted to make sure T&D are making that distinction with colors that came out after that..
Amethyst is pre-fall 2008 so I'm not 100% sure if they're not suppsoed to come with feet.. Do any of you ladies know for sure?

T&D said they didn't put feet on the Amethyst PT GH bags cause the ones they saw in HK didn't have them. That's perfect! They are so great at keeping the details right!

so all t&d had left for me was a GSH amethyst city. i'm not really sure how silver is going to look but i decided to take it anyway. i really wanted RH but more importantly i just wanted anything amethyst. is anyone getting this style too? Can I ask you for some advice. Do you think that larger numbers of bags in an order attract more attention at customs?

I have an order for one bag and am tempted to get another to save on shipping. I am in the UK.

Any experience of large orders being seized or custom charged to the high heavens..?

I am not sure how it works really, but I don't think I would order more than 2 at a time. Because if they are seized, think how much more it will cost to replace them than the extra shipping you would have paid.
I had one package seized by customs in the past, but it was not a purse, it was medication not available in Canada. I wondered why it was taking so long, and the seller told me to phone customs and ask. I didn't see a big deal in that, so I did. Well, that apparently brought a red flag to them, which made them open my package and therefore it was seized. Then the seller blamed me for it. I would have never known that it was possible to call customs if it wasn't for the seller!

Have them shipped separately and rest 'relatively' easy.

Obviously sods law states that any combo of shipping could get noticed and therefore seized or sent a big bill.

Did anyone see Sandra Bullock in "The Proposal" this weekend? I'd like to know what bag she was carrying during the first part of the movie. She also carried a gorgeous Birkin and manhandled an LV carry on and suitcase. Fun movie.

Update on my sis bag:

I called the courier and they said it was their mistake, they had some problems with their computers and the bag was going to be delivered today!THANK GOD!!! I was really worried!
So she finally got it this afternoon!!!
I'll ask her to send me some pics tomorrow so I can post them here, she said the leather it's a bit different from the giant ruby I have, less shiny but still very soft!

I've had bags shipped to the UK twice....the first package only contained one bag and went straight through customs without a problem. The second package contained two bags, and was held up by customs for a few days, but they released it without any problems after that. Never had to pay any import tax or anything like that.

I've had solo bag orders get through fine up until now. About six orders in the past year or so.
I've never ordered more than one though and was wondering if a bigger package looked more suspect.....
I suppose I won't know until I order eh?
