papeete: I'm sorry that you're unhappy with your bag! I agree with the others....yellowing is worrisome...but I think the blue is the same as the auth '08. I know (in pics) mine looks EXACTLY like the pics of auth (I also haven't seen it IRL).
My EB was a sale bag and it's dry leather...not as good as my other NBF bags, but all it needs it conditioning. I love it!!

S/S)? So bags from that point on will be thicker. Although I think they're more shiny than goatskin, not less.....

bal_bear: I say get the apple green Twiggy!!! Auth AG is an OLD color!! An auth AG that was loved and well used would be faded by now. And the people who actually HAVE the NBF AG say it looks much better and less yellow IRL than T&D's pics. And even though it's not 100% the same color as the AG brand new....again, an auth would now be a fair bit faded! So I say get it!! No one is going to be able to tell!

I have a bright-color obsession. (I have a darker-yellow car, even ) I guess I don't need the yellow one as much as a black/neutral/more versatile color, so perhaps T&D are doing me a favor by not being able to make it

Thanks for the info & encouragement, babybluestar! I'll have to check with T&D and see what the heck is going on with those boys! I just think the twiggy is so cute in such a bright color. (I would also LOVE bubblegum pink, and I could go on & on & on... as I'm sure many of you ladies could )

I've had bags shipped to the UK twice....the first package only contained one bag and went straight through customs without a problem. The second package contained two bags, and was held up by customs for a few days, but they released it without any problems after that. Never had to pay any import tax or anything like that.

My parcel's been sitting with customs for a couple of days now, starting to panic slightly that I wont get it!

justpeachy, a couple of days sounds normal to me. Have you checked on Parcelforce website? Use the same tracking, they update things much faster than EMS. I'm sure it'll be with you soon!

I didn't realise you could use the same tracking on Parcelforce...checked now and it says it arrived at Outward Ofiice of Exchange - sounds promising. Jus desperate to receive it now, my new bag

No bother just peachy.
Normally when it says that it means it'll be with you within the next 48 hours. Keep checking, they normally update it a silly o'clock in the morning. I reckon it will be with you tomorrow... or Thursday at the latest.

i just received my YSL easy bag on sale from J's page.
the bag is very soft and the leather is amazing. but i dont think it should be that thin. my bag is very thin, and drop right down the floor. from pics of the EASY bags i have seen, it should be very thich and the bag can stand up by itself. i could be wrong.
there is a huge scratch on the front(or so called back) of the bag. about 3 inches.
i did ask J is there anything wrong of these sale bags but he just said they were hard to sell so he reduced the price. so...im quite upset about this flaw.
i can live w it, and im happy with other quality, but unexpected flaw is UNEASY ;p
i also got the yellow MABEL hobo mulberry. beautiful color, love it.

i got a shrunk bottega veneta. there is only 1 size on his site but this one i got obviously smaller...i will ask for RETURN. i cant accept that.

BBY-what color YSL did you buy? I am sorry about the issues with the sale bag. I see he has the gold on clearance-is that the one? I don't blame you for being upset, esp after you asked him if there was anything wrong with the bag

I bought the cream leopard print YSL from him a couple of years ago and it looked so good in the pics then I got it and while it is real calfhair on the bag, the leather wasn't too great on it and it made me wonder if it was really leather and not 'pleather'. I kept it anyway, used it quite a bit and it's hanging in my closet now-I didn't want to return it because it was too much $$ to return and I could live with it-I will probably end up giving it to my Mom when she visits this summer!

I am beginning to think no one can 'do' YSL??
