To all NBF RH Work bag owners....

Could you please tell me if T&D put feet on the bottom of them. I can see them on the pics of the GH Work bags but not sure about the RH bags.

Update.... just had an email back from T&D... Yes they do have the feet on them. So mystery solved!

Hi there,

I received my first T&D bag a couple of days ago. It's electric blue and after hearing all the amaing reviews here I'm actually a bit disappointed with my bag.

First the zipper didn't work (although amazingly it started after a while)
Second the colour is a bit off. It's electric blue and it's lighter than the one in stores right now.
Third the colour is very uneven. Colour variations with kinda yellowish parts.
Also I think the handles aren't as nice on real bal bags and the leather is so smooshy it's like it's been used for a year already. I know some of you like the smooshyness!

It's a fantastic rep, I can agree with that for sure, but still not the gen.

I have just ordered an EB Work in RH so now I am stressing

The colour issue sounds worrying, the smooshyness sounds good to me though!

I don't think anyone thinks of the colour if not comparing them side by side. I don't know though if balenciaga made lighter blues earlier or if the eb was lighter before (if it existed). The colour overall and the smoshyness just makes it could pass as a second hand ebay bag

I'm very picky so I always obsess over details and I thought it was interesting to share.

Don't worry too much over your bag but do let me know if you leather is the same.

hi papeete, i believe most t&d bbags leather is like that, thin and smooshy. I know its very different from a brand new bbag that can be quite stiff and thick. so you shld definitely say that its a second-hand bag

the handles have always bugged me too, which is why i have stopped buying the older colors. but babybluestar have assured me that the latest colors have the correct handles so dont let this stop you from buying in the future!

im sorry about ur disappointment w the bag. the color of my EB is quite correct, i can say it's Electric blue or french blue.
i dont think it's the EB you see in store because EB has been out for quite a long time (early 08-i think)
about the yellowing, you should ask T&D about it. real bbag also turn yellow, but that's after USEd, not brand new.

i just received my YSL easy bag on sale from J's page.
the bag is very soft and the leather is amazing. but i dont think it should be that thin. my bag is very thin, and drop right down the floor. from pics of the EASY bags i have seen, it should be very thich and the bag can stand up by itself. i could be wrong.
there is a huge scratch on the front(or so called back) of the bag. about 3 inches.
i did ask J is there anything wrong of these sale bags but he just said they were hard to sell so he reduced the price. so...im quite upset about this flaw.
i can live w it, and im happy with other quality, but unexpected flaw is UNEASY ;p
i also got the yellow MABEL hobo mulberry. beautiful color, love it.

i got a shrunk bottega veneta. there is only 1 size on his site but this one i got obviously smaller...i will ask for RETURN. i cant accept that.

baby_yorkie, sorry to hear about that! I went to YSL the other day to try out the Easy, tried out a few colors and the leather is definitely very thick and bubbly. When you put it down, it slouches, but not right down to the floor. And when you wear the bag, you can feel that its thick. Can you post some pictures?

jacky has the orange speedy on discount but my neon green was def wrong. did he fix it like the neverfulls?

papetee - i was going to point this out as well. maybe you are seeing a different blue when you're out? i haven't seen an auth EB in stores (i travel a lot and always hit stores that stock bals so i have a good handle on colors/styles should t&d produce them ) in ages. i would inquire about the yellowing though. that shouldn't happen in a brand new bag. also, leather varies from bag to bag with all bags - whether it's a banana republic leather bag, a vintage bag or an auth bal. that's just how the tanning/distressing of the hide goes. if it makes you feel any better the best bals ('04-'06...some '07) are thin and very smooshy. the new ones are quite thick and plastic-y and very much look like reps because they are so dull/matte.

bal_bear - in the end, bouton d'or wasn't doable. i always thought it was too difficult for them to pull off (look what happened with AG...it's nice, but nothing like the auth). i would LOVE this bag as well, but i'd rather have colors/combos that pass as auth then bags that are off. jmho!

baby_yorkie - thanks for the easy review! i sort of want the gold, but now i'm weary. i just played with the auth in black over the weekend. it is a very nice bag, but yes, definitely thick. from the pics jacky's look very, very good but they might be pics of the auth. i might take a chance on the gold anyway. the leather doesn't look quite as thick on it, so if it pools when empty, that might be OK. edit - oh and enjoy your mulberry! LOVE that color and style! so chic and gorgeous!

Boo. I agree on the fact that I'd rather have a passable bag - I just can't help drooling over the gorgey yellows. I hope they do some good & different colors soon. I must stay away from T&D's apple twiggy... I must...

I do not own an authentic bbag, no one I know (or even seen!) carries them, and there are no stores near me so that I could compare. But I am quite pleased with it. Doing my best do online comparison with what I have and the pictures I see online. My bag is quite a deep bright blue and not light in the slightest, but maybe lighter than the gen? But nevertheless, I always say, if anyone asks where I bought it, that I purchased it second hand.

I agree - T&D's EB appears a bit lighter in pictures, but it's pure electric in real life! I love mine. I would also just say I bought it secondhand, because it's nearly identical to the "older" EB.

And lanabanana - what do you think is going on with their nbf store? It was fully stocked with about 19 items last night! Maybe they are re-doing it? Or as you said, just dealing exclusively now... weird...
