fall isn't very far away...

other sellers make bal bags, but they aren't anywhere near as nice as t&d's. leather, quality, details....i have yet to see a bag that compares although keep in mind auth bal bags have gone downhill in leather quality in recent seasons, so if you don't mind matte/flat leather a bag from another seller may satisfy/read as the auth.

I need a dark navy blue city with ggh. I asked T&D and they won't do it until the fall. Are there any other alternatives?

Did they just say they won't do a navy until fall or do you think the next batch of colors all together won't be announced until fall? I'm just asking because I really want a black city but don't want to order it now and have another color I want be announced in the next couple of weeks. I'd rather space my orders out some.

Welcome to TFS! :flower: No news on the next colors from T&D and from posts on here from girls who have talked to them about it, T&D will not be making Bouton D'or again.

Thanks very much for your kind words. I am happy to be here!

I would love a Brief in any color with GH or RH.
I would also be in for a Navy or Officier City or Part Time with GSH.

Mmm, still nope. baby_yorkie didn't misspell or misprint, and neither did you. So, what that has to do with you flat out saying "T&D have not done a lemon yellow", I don't know, but as a "journalist", I'm sure you'll tell us real quick ;)

Anyway, yes, we four girls paid for our BD gsh cities, and yes, they were made. Just because they were never sent out doesn't mean they don't exist.
That's just common nonsense

And the photos of the leather with spots are from nearly a year ago, not from January which is when these, the last and final attempt at BD, were produced :D

thanks for clarifying for everyone.

i'm not sure how we survived without you.

Meow, cattiness levels at 100%.

I know they're old, but I'm always super late on every trend. Has anyone gotten the Alexander McQueen skull scarf from Catty?

You're always more than welcome, doll!!! :flower::D
:heart::heart::heart:

amyiish - i haven't had a rep skull scarf, but i have two auth and just from pics the reps are not good. they're too sheer and the font is usually slightly off (all reps look the same, i think you'd get the same quality from anyone). of course it is a scarf (meaning you wear it, so people can't get a really good look), so depending on where you live, etc. it might be passable. they do look like they'd be quite flimsy, but i have heard girls rave over the reps (maybe check the accessories thread?). thomas wylde rep scarves are identical to the auth from the looks of it.

Thanks for the detailed response, thesiren! I totally forgot about asking the accessories thread. Luckily where I live, I definitely don't think minor variations in details (or even major ones) would be noticed. :p

caratjuice, just use registered mail if you want to send your purchase back to China :)

i used the international courier with tracking when i sent my timeless clutch back to Jacky..it was about US$35 for 500grms prepaid satchel from oz to china..:shock:

Thanks for your replies. They do cost so much to ship back! That's the reason I am still debating whether to send back the Tivoli or not... I am sure of sending the Mulberry EW back though.

I bought the McQ skull from one ioffer seller under someone's recommendation. But it didn't turn out to be good. I bought 4 different colors, and only 1 was true-r to the auth. The rest (like what Amyiish said)was too sheer and rough.

i typed "said" purposely, because all 4 bags were destroyed?
i think anybody knows photoshop can give you pics of bals(anything) in any colors you want, not just BD.
and yeAH, AT least 1 bag was made to take those pics (as you said) then where the hell is that bag?
im sorry but dont even tell me they sell it to someone else, there were 4 people paid for it and i know all 4-
please, nobody can resist to NOT buy there bags, i love every single bag i bought from them, even faulty ones. but i paid for every of them, i have the right to complain....

Those who received their Amethyst bags : Are you using anything to condition your bag or will you be leaving it just as it is?

I tried the nail polish remover trick on my Black Cherry Twiggy. It did remove the shine and thereafter I applied Apple Leather Care Conditioner. However, I also noticed it made some parts of the leather look darker (thankfully, only on the sides, which is not noticeable when the bag is carried).

I'm afraid to do anything to my Amethyst bag because I'm just afraid the colour might be ruined. Should I just leave it as it is?

I've always just used the Apple Conditioner - I've never had any color transfer, and it's always removed shine. (And, if I'm not happy, I do another layer etc.) Personally, I'd be afraid to put nail polish remover on my amethyst when she gets here this week, but I assume I'll condition her!

Thanks a lot, bal_bear. I think I'll go apply some Conditioner on my Amethyst bag later. It's too precious (to me, ha) to risk ruining it.

For those who may want to try out the nail polish remover method ... my advice is to do it only on dark coloured bags. I used Sally Hansen Fast & Gentle polish remover. When applying, the colour will rub off slightly (the cloth I used was stained with the bag colour!) and it is a MUST to condition it thereafter as the nail polish remover does make the bag dry. I must say, it removed all the shine. But I will not do it on my other bags (maybe except my Black City in future).

sahrieswirl, someone from this forum recommended using nail polish remover to remove the shine from T&D bags (for those who prefer matt looking bags). She tried it on her Black Bbag, I think.

I did a small patch test on the back of the mirror and it was okay, so I tried it on my Black Cherry Twiggy.

be careful when using nail polish remover on the bags please! it can remove color, so just be very careful. apple conditioner will also give the bag a matte look, and if it isn't flat enough, simply do another coat as bal_bear suggested. i would hate for anyone to ruin their bag when all they're trying to do is dull the shine.

Sooo ladies.... I am ordering an Argent Day from the boys (can't resist!)
And, I think I'm going to take an Apple Green twiggy as well. It's just soooo cute, and someone here (byorkie? babybluestar? - i don't remember - :( ) suggested that it'd be a cute and worthwhile buy!
