Did it work? Yes, as you can see from the photos.

Will I use the nail polish remover method again? Honestly, no. It's too risky.

I will stick to my tested and proven method of Dubbin Wax + Apple Care Leather Conditioner.

Hi RyanLA! My mom likes Gucci a lot but she hasn't fallen in love with any reps.. thanks for the recommendation, what kind of Gucci styles did you order? Any of the new Guccissima leather?

I got the Pelham in Black from joy and it's very nice and I got the new Jackie in Chocolate from Jacky and that one is very nice as well. I would say the plain leather Gucci bags are much better though, I got a couple Black indy bags from Joy and they are so freakin plush!!

OK everyone, here is what I got from Joy in the past 3 weeks. Everything I am posting here I would say is very safe to purchase. I did order some Damier but sent it back because I did not like it. Joy took it back no problem and gave the choice of my money back or credit and I just chose credit.

Anyone who is thinking about ordering from Joy @ FABAAA, I can tell you that she is very patient and very helpful about recommending what to get and what to stay away from. I think her service justifies her shipping cost because she personally made sure that the bags I got were as perfect as possible. Joy also hooked me up with 10% off so shipping was just about cut in half. I guess peace of mind and Joy's honesty and service is well worth a few extra bucks.

I had a headache/hassle free experience with Joy @ FABAA. I hope my post helps someone out there.

ACK!!! People, PLEASE don't risk your bag by using nail polish remover on it! There's just no reason!! Leather conditioner will remove the shine WITHOUT damaging the bag!!

bal_bear: It was me!! I think an apple green Twiggy would be the cutest little bag!! I was going to get the AG Work but my bank account slapped me across the face. Maybe later....

I think the bouton d'or bag looks gorgeous and really, we can't say it's not spot on. Haven't we ALL learned that T&D's pics can be so different that the bag's color IRL? We'll never know either way. Anyway, yeah...T&D DID make them and for some reason (again, we'll never know) they never made it to their homes. Too bad. I'll keep asking though. They said "no no no" on the Brief and now I have one coming. So I think it's totally possible that they'll do a color they've previously said no to.

Thanks to everyone who posted about the BD/yellow issue. I'm going to try emailing them and see what they say - a flat NO WAY would kill my dream, but at least I would know for sure...

Does anyone know what colours they have in stock and which they're planning to make? It seems like I missed out on all the pretty fun colours last year before I got into bals... Would kill for a Fraise/Bubblegum with GSH...

Did they just say they won't do a navy until fall or do you think the next batch of colors all together won't be announced until fall? I'm just asking because I really want a black city but don't want to order it now and have another color I want be announced in the next couple of weeks. I'd rather space my orders out some.

They told me that they will probably do navy in the fall. I didn't ask about any other colors. And I would really love to have the navy now even though it is a fall/winter color

xooey: I think, since the amethyst sold so well, that T&D would do another run.....but they may not do it 'till late this year or even 'till next year. I think they're into the bags being more exclusive, limited edition bags rather than mass produced. Thus, if they do a color you like, you gotta get in on it fast! But always ask! You never know!

Anyone else interested in a bright yellow? I say we all bombard Jacky to make the PS1! Thanks Mascha for updating us!!

I for one would love something in Amethyst but the Twiggy is too small for me. Hi all!

I've just received my Amethyst PT with RH and I LOVE it!!
It is so purpley/ pink. It really does look very bright!
I was worried that I should have gone for the SGH but I love the tassels too much. I'm glad I stayed with RH - for me anyway.

I am so happy it arrived in safely. Mirror was in tact and everything.
Phew.

I will post pictures later when I get the chance.

So now I have a twiggy, city, PT and work. FAB!!
