Oh, that's good to hear, danger mouse, congrats on your lovely bag! I think Amethyst looks best with RH, so great choice there! I ordered an Amethyst RH City I was torn between a City and a Twiggy, but finally decided on the City because I already have a Twiggy. Can't wait to see the pics!!!!!

I'm really struggling to get a decent picture of the colour. It's coming out looking really pale. But it's so deep and vibrant IRL.

OK everyone, here is what I got from Joy in the past 3 weeks. Everything I am posting here I would say is very safe to purchase. I did order some Damier but sent it back because I did not like it. Joy took it back no problem and gave the choice of my money back or credit and I just chose credit.

Anyone who is thinking about ordering from Joy @ FABAAA, I can tell you that she is very patient and very helpful about recommending what to get and what to stay away from. I think her service justifies her shipping cost because she personally made sure that the bags I got were as perfect as possible. Joy also hooked me up with 10% off so shipping was just about cut in half. I guess peace of mind and Joy's honesty and service is well worth a few extra bucks.

I had a headache/hassle free experience with Joy @ FABAA. I hope my post helps someone out there.

ACK!!! People, PLEASE don't risk your bag by using nail polish remover on it! There's just no reason!! Leather conditioner will remove the shine WITHOUT damaging the bag!!

bal_bear: It was me!! I think an apple green Twiggy would be the cutest little bag!! I was going to get the AG Work but my bank account slapped me across the face. Maybe later....

I think the bouton d'or bag looks gorgeous and really, we can't say it's not spot on. Haven't we ALL learned that T&D's pics can be so different that the bag's color IRL? We'll never know either way. Anyway, yeah...T&D DID make them and for some reason (again, we'll never know) they never made it to their homes. Too bad. I'll keep asking though. They said "no no no" on the Brief and now I have one coming. So I think it's totally possible that they'll do a color they've previously said no to.

Babybluestar - Thanks for the encouragement! I am looking forward to my twiggy. My credit card slapped me in the face - HARD, but I got it down and am happily working 2 jobs over the summer, so why not reward myself with cute bags? I'm totally with anyone who wants to fly to China and protest outside of T&D's place with BD signs. We won't come home until they produce them! We want BD! We want BD!

By the way, I ordered the AG Twiggy w/RH, and an Argent Day w/GSH. I fell in love when I saw pictures. And the twiggy is just an adorable shopping partner.

my gold YSL easy arrived today. i love it! i'm not sure what color it's supposed to be though - bronzo or sahara gold, but maybe you guys can help me out with that when i post pics. i have to get batteries for my camera, but i'll do so soon. there really isn't a ton of info at tpf about the details of this bag, and i vaguely remember seeing it irl (but not taking in all of the gory details) so i can't get down to the nitty gritty. i can tell that the metallic is going to lift off, which happens with many metallic bags/shoes, so i don't think that's a result of faulty product. it's sort of like brushed suede if you're familiar with that, but a crackle effect. i'm not sure why this happens, but i've seen it happen with bags and flats of this material/texture (including my old lanvin flats...RIP!).

my bag doesn't pool when empty, but that's because the leather is likely thicker/most structured. it's a good and bad thing because when not full, it also doesn't drape as deliciously as the leather easy. i literally JUST received the bag, so i'll give a further assesment after careful examination.

I, too, am a sucker for tassels! They can sometimes make a bag. I still love my GSH work & my soon to be GSH Argent Day, though.... gotta mix up the collection !

My GSH argent city should be here tomorrow! Sorry I haven't put up pics of my amethyst work...my laptop has been screwy. But hopefully I'll be able to put up pics of argent and amethyst in the next couple of days.

Impatiently waiting for T&D to announce their next round of colors...I know they said it would be "summery" colors so I think all the darker blues, etc. they won't do until the batch of colors after the next one.
