I disappeared for a bit over the weekend, but was just catching up on the thread before work...
shoegal - best of luck getting your bbag! I've too had HORRIBLE luck with couriers. Only, involving cell phones and the loss of about $500. NOT happy...

because I now want a Hermes bag. I've never liked them until I saw this girl carrying one on tv. She looked like me, and all I did was drool at the bag. I've GOT to have one. I want an orange 30cm birkin really badly. If anyone who is knowledgeable could PM me, I could send you a link to one I am looking at, but I really need help, and don't want to make a bad choice. So Catty just sent me more detailed pics of the mahina biscuit bag. The official pictures from LV of the new colours shows a more brownish bag than the pics catty sent...

Have any of you been given a rough idea of a shipping date or been sent any pictures of any completed bags?

I have asked a few times about when they might be ready. Do you think we could have another two weeks wait?

What?! Catty has the Biscuit? How come I didn't know this?
Okay, just flipped over there and checked it out. It doesn't look that Biscuit-y to me. Looks more like the Ivory one. And I really like the Monogram Vernis NICE Beauty Case, but isn't it a "Frankencase?" Thought it just came in Monogram.

However, if you enter the LV site, the picture of the model carrying the bag shows a quite light-coloured bag.

I heard this model is very rare, so it might be hard to pop into the local LV shop to check it out IRL

Did anyone see Sandra Bullock in "The Proposal" this weekend? I'd like to know what bag she was carrying during the first part of the movie. She also carried a gorgeous Birkin and manhandled an LV carry on and suitcase. Fun movie.

T&D told me last week(Monday) that Amethyst will be ready and they will start to send them in 7 days time.
Its 7 days today-no news for Amethyst yet

Girls who have gotten Part Time with Giant Hardwares from T&D, do they have feet on them?
Bal stopped putting feet on their part time giant hardware bags starting FW2008, so I wanted to make sure T&D are making that distinction with colors that came out after that..
Amethyst is pre-fall 2008 so I'm not 100% sure if they're not suppsoed to come with feet.. Do any of you ladies know for sure?
