To the girls who are worried about if it looks auth or aren't happy with it...there are a lot of girls who missed out on amethyst so if you do decide to sell it, you'll probably be able to do so easily (not being catty, I mean this as a way to pass on the bag if you're not happy with it). I totally know how hard it can be to carry a bag if YOU don't feel it looks right. I don't give two hoots about color variations because most people (even in the snobby a** area I live in) have NO idea what year this color came out and what year that style or hardware was introduced. We live in the bubble of tfs/tpf where we know EVERY detail. The average civilian doesn't. I say amethyst is gorgeous. Use it, rock it, love it!

I love the Amethyst Bags that everyone has posted and I hope everyone enjoys their new bags.

My collection from T&D includes a Black City w/RH, Apple Green Day and hopefully arriving soon will be a Part Time Argent w/RH.

It'd be great it if they made something in a green hue. I would love something in Pistachio, Vert Thyme, Dolma...
Or a nude color: Praline or Sahara would be among my top choices.

I would love Vert Thyme as well. I would still love a Marine Blue for the Fall Season.

ITA babybluestar. It's more about attitude than the actual bag you're carrying as to whether it's believable or not. Of course, where I am at the moment the closest bal would be a couple of thousand miles away
People sometimes comment on how nice the bag is, having no clue what balenciaga is let alone whether it's gen or a rep.
I used to only wear my reps when wearing dressy clothes but lately I've been wearing them with more casual clothes, and I feel that attitude makes all the difference.

I hope that beautiful amethyst helps to make up for the EB issue.

same! T&D's Vert Deau actually is a tiny bit darker and sometimes I tell myself it's seafoam.. heehee. but I would DIE if they made a seafoam! actually if they can make anything in the silver/pewter hardware I'd die!

thanks girls! I love the amethyst twiggy! I had no idea I'd love the twiggy shape as much as I would, but the VD twiggy did me in.. so I had to have another! I'll always love the Day, but the twiggy is my new fave.

My two cents - since you have so much GH already I would go with the rh they have in stock. That way you'll be able to use it while we still have summer weather. I think the Argent GSH delivery will be toward the end of summer if they have not yet started them. I would be tempted to get the rh myself.

They told me the Argent Days GSH are in production.... right now!
That being said... PinkPrincess113, I ordered mine last night! They had just informed me they were making more & that they were already in production!

Hehe...that's the other tPFer I was referring to. I can bet with you all her Works are NBF.

so when I asked T&D for my tracking, they said "[FONT=Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial] Just waiting for the bag to arrive in Guangzhou and once it does I will be given a tracking number and we’ll send it to you."

Does this mean they haven't sent it out yet? I thought I got a notification from USPS today that I had 2 packages from China.. I'm so confused.

Just emailed the guys to see if they had any anthras with GGH.. I'm hoping the leather is thick and soft just like this auth 07 anthra.... it's soooo beautiful.

Oh dear, I've never seen any Magenta or Amethyst bags in real life myself and only done comparisons of T&D's Magenta and Amethyst bags vs the photos from TPF. They look pretty spot on based on the photos I've seen. But as mentioned, photos can be deceiving as compared to real life.

Can I pass off my Amethyst City with GSH as a Magenta with GSH? Or was there never such a combination?

If her bag is T&D she must be VERY special T&D cusomer then, to receive her Anthra GGH that soon...I havent seen yet anyone here with T&D Anthra bag, I thought they havent make/post them yet

Maybe there is another 'T&D' out there B)B) because that work is definitely not authentic, and there was this electric blue brief on ebay thats definitely replica and yet not T&D. Wow!!

Anyway, thanks for the advice ladies, I have decided to order the RH day, just because I have too many giants although I definitely agree that the SGH is more gorgeous. Now I'm waiting for their reply, hope its not sold out yet! hehe

Amyiish: No marine? Not even a cute little PT with GGH? Hey, different strokes for different folks. Although I must say, some of the bags I disliked in the beginning and thought I'd NEVER want, are now my fav bags (ruby and VD). So you never know!

OMG!!! SEA FOAM!!!!! How about we get everyone who missed vert d'eau to get on the sea foam list??

Seriously girls! My vert d'eau goes with scads of outfits!! The color is so pale (and sea foam even more so) that it can almost be a neutral!

pinkdolphin: ITA with YOU! Attitude goes a long way. Because *most* people don't know what details to look for, they'll look at the person carrying it. So confidence and a smile go a long way. Hideous fakes are a different story, but remember, our reps often pass on the other forum without being spotted so ours are d*mn good!!
