Jovovich-Hawk for Target

Love the top! The shorts look like they took the ones you had to wear for gym class and stuck some lace on them ;).

For both pieces, I think I'd need to see them in person to truly form an opinion - clothing pictures are often times misleading! But in any case, I love the style of the shirt and bottoms! Hopefully the rest of the collection follows the same look and color palette.

i think the top is kind of cute...not really down with the shorts!

however, one thing i've learned is that often the best pieces in the target/go lines are not necessarily the ones that photograph the best. (i sometimes think that's true of even designer-designer lines...there are pieces that are meant to get editorial, and others that really work best when you see them on a real person in real life.) i often just wait till i can get the clothes in my hands to figure out the best pieces.

and to pipe in on the quality bit, i find with go lines that there are maybe a few pieces that are of very nice quality for the price. i thought erin fetherston's coats were done nicely, and i remember of the temperley line that the petal sweater dress seemed much higher quality than the $50 price tag (i think it was $50...something like that.) i do find the cotton pieces to be quite cheap in terms of quality, even for target sometimes. to sum up, i think it really depends on the individual piece. if you're willing to dig a little, there is that elusive piece that manages to be of good quality, good price and good design. it's just most of the pieces don't have all three all at once...

So far I think Libertine and Patrick Robinson were the best in terms of style/quality.

I hope that J-H shirt turns out to be silk or a nice grade of cotton and not polyester.

It's really weird that a preview of the line would be in a magazine when Target has not even officially announced J-H as the next GO designer or put any pics or news on their website about it. Maybe they are trying to build anticipation.

I like both pieces! They're probably much better looking in person.
I'm excited!

I definitely agree with this. I have many pieces from Patrick Robinson's line, and they still look brand new despite all that I've put them through.

i like the shirt too. this collection seems promising.

The print on the shirt seems similar, if not identical to, the print used in some of the dresses in their spring 2007 collection.

i think those shorts are adorable
i officially can't wait for this one!
relieved to finally see it in the press, though- march is confirmed, then...

i definitely think those pieces will be successful with the horridly dressed college girls in this town. i think those look boring. not as exciting. can't wait for rogan in the summer.

i can't say i'm too impressed with the shirt or the shorts..
if it was just some random brand i probably wouldn't buy it..

i want to like them because they are jovovich-hawk but i just don't :ermm:

i think it's good that i realize that :p

would like to see what other items they came up with though...
it's certainly unfair to judge an entire collection based on two pieces imo

I'm so excited about this! :clap:The top is really cute. I'm most excited for the dresses though!
