Stopped by my Target today..as a few others have noted, this collections seems very well made. I liked a lot of what I saw, but feel that it's too young for me, but know plenty of people it would look adorable on. I did want the star vest and the black lace dress but they didn't have my size in either

i actually stopped by target today too and to tell you the truth i wasn't too impressed with what i saw...

maybe i just didn't like the pieces they had (though some of the bathing suits were quite cute)..
some just looked a bit too boho/billowy for me...
wouldn't look flattering on my figure..

and i didn't really like the prints so much when i saw them in person tbh..
the only reason i considered some of the stuff was because it was jovovich-hawk..
but really, that's not a good enough reason to spend $$ on something

ahahah ...5'2 is ok , my sis is 5'2 , she wears 4 inch heels with jeans , and she looks fine . 5'2 isnt that short.

Aww...you are right but I usually run around with a six year old and 14 month old so teetering around in tall heels for me is just a Britney Spears accident waiting to happen.

Maybe in a few years though.

they just opened a brand new target super store where i live and today was the grand opening. i went in and girls were picking through the JH racks like nutz! luckily i grabbed what i wanted, the black hat, the striped scoop neck shirt/dress and that black top pictured above. I liked everything, although a lot of the float tops were a bit too frilly for my personal taste. it does have a very strong boho aesthetic to it...but with the pieces i bought, im thinking more punk/rock/lolita....the hat reminds me of what lydia from beetlejuice wears! i really liked the tiered black dress too but they only had one left. the bathingsuits were very cute and as everyone is saying, the fabrics/construction/fit of the garments seem to be FAR superior to other GO collections. i think this is one of the best, although the styling isn't for everyone....i think no matter what your style, there's at least one piece that can work for you.

I think Jovovich-Hawk clothing has the blatant inspiration as part of their vision, or the type of personality/air they want to portray. So you either like it, like it in moderation, or don't! I, personally.. do. I could imagine wearing lots of it to a music festival or sitting in the grass. It's funny, but there's just something about their clothes that I really believe in. [ /cheesy ]

yeah i think the stars in the JH for target garments are too darn small..

i like the star vest! it's a great piece...nicely cut (at least on my body!), interesting details (there's a striped upper lining). i highly recommend!

They had the star vest at my local Target but they did not have the denim version Oh, they also have the bags but not the floppy hat. But when I checked on the website it said that my store had it The bag it actually pretty nice and well made but not my style.

I was going to go check today but the stupid weather had other plans with snow & ice. Im going to go out tomorrow though after work... hopefully it wont be all gone & they will have the other pieces.

does anyone else notice that there arent that many items as compared to erin fetherston? (the duration for both was the same 6 weeks).

granted more items may be coming out in another week or so...but maybe this reflects a new strategy by target...
