London & United Kingdom Schools ... for Fashion

has anyone studied, or going to study this year at manchester metropolitan? i'm planning to go there to do internation fashion marketing in september, but no-one seems to even mention it. has anyone had any experiences with it? ^_^

Does anyone have any reviews whatsoever to offer about Kingston University's Foundation in Art and Design and Fashion BA courses? I know GCSEs are necessary for the former but are A-Level qualifications also required?

Could anyone give me an idea as to what it's like going to a university in London? I really want to go to London College of Arts but I know how expensive accomodation and living costs are in London, has anyone had any big problems or is it not too hard to do?

Bump! :D

Im due to graduate from Newcastle Uni with an english degree next year and I'm now looking into a post grad/masters. Has anyone here taken the fashion journalism and/or fashion and lifestyle journalism post grad/masters courses at the London College of Fashion. I'm really interested in them and would love a little feedback?? TIA! :p

Mariangoni is a school where you have to pay a lot of money to study, they dont care about how much talent you have - i've heard a LOT of bad things about this school.

other good schools for fashion in London are Central saint Martins, London College of Fashion, Westminster, Kingston and RCA if you're considering an MA:flower:

does anyone know anything about the fashion course at northampton university? i'm currently doing some research into it. i'd love to find out some information from people who know about it. thanks in advance.

I walked past CSM last week, all the fashion students were being rained on...

Hi----Has anyone taken or heard anything about the short course for styling for media at London College of Fashion? I'd love to hear some thoughts. thanks

hi everyone I'm planning to move to London for my foundation in Art and design in the future but im thinking about which school is good.I've heard that CSM is overrated and too crowded and it costs a lot.Is it true?
Is LCF or Kingston a good choice ?or do u guys have any other suggestions?
Thanks.
BTW,I'm hoping to do fashion BA after the foundation.

my friends who did the foundation in art and design course at LCF loved it.
foundation is definitely a good route to take to get to the BA. which BA course are you aiming for?

What about BIAD (Birmingham Institute of Art & Design)?? Anyone going there?? Last week I just talked to the guy who represented the college. I showed him my sketchbooks and he said that I don't need to do foundation and that I can go straight to the degree course in fashion design. So I just want some feedback about the school.

I also want to apply to Universities of the Arts London but I have a feeling that they're gonna put me in foundation. How's the foundation course at CSM? I've always wanted to do fashion at CSM but I'm not so sure about foundation because I heard that there are way too many students in the course.

I think it can take quite a while to get into the CSM foundation courses. I know a guy who waited like a year to get on one....
