Everybody looks crap and... lifeless? I feel even Oscars or any other awards ceremony these days holds a record for more interesting looks than this fashion gala. It used to be different, but so was the fashion, too. Gone are the days when the likes of McQueen, Galliano, or Theyskens would be there on the red carpet themselves, and always delivering a noteworthy look for their +1. I think the bar was higher for others as well, and people had more fun with their choices. Now I feel it's somebody else dictating them what to wear.
