Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

Also, I believe music plays part of protests, even in the past. Didn't they used to sing and play guitar at protests at the Vietnam war protest? Joan Baez, and all those people? Also, the Dixie Chicks against Bush. I seem to recall seeing pictures like these.
I wouldn't call Woodstock an actual protest. Which reminds me to put on my Forrest Gump soundtrack cause that was some good music.

^ You're right, it was, I guess, a music festival. A happening :)

The genre called 'protest music' doesn't necessarily refer to music performed at protests, but music written in protest of something, often war. 'Strange Fruit' might fall in this category as well??

In any case, Coke (never my drink) definitely did it better with 'I'd Like to Buy the World a Coke.'

I do actually know what Woodstock was, thank you very much! No need to school me.
A quick Google search yielded the results below:

You'll find that the images above were taken at an anti-Vietnam demonstration in London. It wasn't a music fest which turned political, it was a political demonstration with a music.

Point taken and fair enough about the Dixie Chicks....

Yes, she's posted on her Instagram "single and happy".

She deleted the caption. She wrote "happy and single. Fake love is worse than real hate" :eyeroll:

She seems very concerned with facade, so I don't find it surprising at all that she gave of the vibes of being happily married and now happily single.

A while ago some models were shooting/making a promo video for a disaster festival.

http://www.thefashionlaw.com/home/fyrefestival-has-been-slapped-with-a-fraud-negligence-class-action-lawsuit

"Fyre Festival and it's promoters recklessly stranded thousands of consumers in a festival of horror, and cost them thousands of dollars on travel, lodging and time off from work. Through this Federal Class Action will make sure to hold Fyre -- and all those who recklessly and blindly promoted the festival -- accountable to make sure all consumers receive not only a ticket refund but also 100 percent reimbursement for travel, lodging, time off from work, and any other incidental and consequential damages."
The creators are now being sued. There are rumours that the models who promoted the festival as well may be hit with the suit. That includes Bella Hadid, Alessandra Ambrosio, Emily Ratajkowski, Gizele Oliveira, Hailey Baldwin, Paulina Vega, Lais Ribeiro, Rose Bertram, Shanina Shaik, Hannah Ferguson, and Elsa Hosk.

I'm no legal expert so am not sure how it holds up, but either way it's bad publicity for the girls. Even though they had nothing really to do with it. None of them attended though - they seemed to be tipped off before hand.

I don't understand how people can get so delusional that they think the models or advertising tean are to blame, even in the slightest.

^ At what point do they have a responsibility (moral or otherwise) to know anything about what they're promoting? Is it supposed to be understood that any and all promotions on social media (and possibly the contents of the promoters' heads as well) are so much hot air? Should it be assumed that they're just taking the money from anyone who offers and running? Isn't their 'brand' supposed to have some kind of quality associated with it? Shouldn't they recognize that there's a disconnect when they promote something they none of them have any intention of attending? /endrant
