Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

Back to the family, I certainly don't think her husband is completely harmless, he runs a healthcare insurance company in a country completely f*cked up by pharma and health care lobbying and comes from a family where most relatives have shown that moral compass is not a family priority. But I still don't think that Karlie 'needs' to do more to define where she stands politically and socially. I actually think there's something problematic in that demand, in thinking that if you don't broadcast your sociopolitical beliefs somewhere and to the standard established by our attention-starved social media culture, you're therefore complicit with silence and part of the problem. It is very American, a very 'with us or against us' bipartisan mentality and I don't think it's healthy if you expect a society to understand each other and overcome the lack of trust that makes people run for the hills and dig up bs theories up there. I actually think that expectation is a fundamental part of the problem, not the high-profile subjects we project our hopes on..

 This deserves to be celebrated as understatement of the year

Wrt the Kushner pardon, I think it's primarily the final flash of Jared Kushner's political power. It takes a special person to feel validated by, or find any relevance whatsoever in, a pardon from this president when the sentence for the crime has already been served years ago. Look forward to seeing how this 'honor' will age.

^ hey I refuse to throw the little cousins and nieces under the bus!.. they might skip foundation via family and pick up values at Le Rosey for 11k a month.

I personally believe that when you choose to publicly position yourself in a certain light and are outspoken about specific aspects of politics as Karlie is, the public then has every right to question the pieces of your life that appear hypocritical to the messages you choose to spread. People expect more of her because of the image she created for herself. And that image is often contradictory to the actual life she lives. She’d have to be extremely naive or simply dumb to think people wouldn’t take issue with this.

Pretty bad behaviour. All other Australians have been stuck with a $3000 hotel quarantine bill they can barely afford for 14 days with no windows allowed, while the rich get exemptions to quarantine in nice houses and then can't even follow the rules. Not surprising at all from her.

For those who aren't Australian, the reason there is a lot of backlash around this is because most Australians can't even return to the country due to very strict entry caps each day, and those who have come back have missed out on seeing relatives before they died during the 14-day quarantine period, so seeing celebrities get these exemptions and then not bother to follow process is very frustrating for most.

Isn't she involved with some Covid Hoaxer community with her best friend that makeup artist?

^I wouldn't be shocked if that's true. Don't want to stereotype, but why is it that all the eco/earth-loving models are embroiled in these conspiracy theories? Who's next, Goop? Most people already perceive the wellness/mindfulness market to be filled with snakeoil salesmen, and here they come with the delusional theories.

The way Miranda is flaunting her privilege and entitlement is really more annoying than shameful for me. She was probably so shocked when she learned health officials called the police on her, lol. The hot girl, how dare they?

Also, can we talk about that cringey, obviously facetuned Christmas pic where both of them look as though they've been in the Outback without any sunscreen?

I believe there's a now a call for Australians not to celebrate Australia Day because it's disrespectful to the indigenous people of the country. The Urban List posted something on their social media about two days ago explaining why they won't celebrate it. Strange that we haven't seen anything from Vogue Australia, Charlee or Adut because they're normally very vocal about these issues. Not that I agree or disagree with it, that should be a matter for Australians to weigh in on.

^ ha! They say they are "earth loving" but actually do a lot of harm to the earth. If someone is capitalizing coconut products from monkey labor, palm oil products from deforestation, organic cotton contributing to droughts and deforestation, mica mining from child labor and other unsustainable "plant based" trends then they are no friend to the earth. Not to mention all the virgin plastic clothing and byproducts that made them iconic...

LOL! I learned the uncomfortable truth about how coconut oil and Himalayan salt are harvested but I can't say it made me stop buying it. :ninja:

That's why I had to make the distinction. You can't blame the consumers so much because they're just trying to keep up to stay alive and keep their jobs and communities. The problem is with the people creating and pushing the trends and knowingly capitalizing on it.

The last slide with crayon writing is still up on her IG Stories, just saw it now along with the one of her celebrating the fact that 84% of her poll chose 'the red pill'.

I'm surprised that Instagram isn't more strict with removing these 'alternative' and downright unscientific viewpoints? Let the crazies go to Telegram, thanks!
Especially since the vaccine rollout just started. Just yesterday I read that the number of people who will refuse the vaccine is growing larger thanks to misinformation and fear being spread. In fact, it's getting so intense that employers may even require workers to show proof of immunisation before being allowed back to work, which of course I agree with because it's a public safety issue.

Not shocked that the so-called 'earth mother' models have co-signed on Doutzen's posts.......
A sad day for Doutzen and the red pill gang! Biden inauguration leaves QAnon believers in disarray

:lol::lol::lol:

They literally believed in a mass arrest of politicians and celebrities on or after inauguration day. LOL
On another thought, seeing Germanotta perform the national anthem probably drove them over the edge. Apparently, she is supposed to be part of some sort of 'satanic cabal'.

Hopefully this will put an end to Doutzen and her fellow nutters and we all can go on with our lives now. The proper order of the world is back on track. Because this vomitous fray even made its way into the UK which truly shocked me.

Hopefully, she wasn't involved with this:
Angered By New Coronavirus Restrictions, Protesters In Netherlands Clash With Police

Since being constructive is better than destructive.

BBC intro: A barricade, made of burning bicycles.....

You only need to listen to those words to know that's set in the Netherlands. And how Dutch of them to burn their own bicycles. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

And isn't burning those bicycles bad for the environment and pollution?

They might need to wear N95 for that. How ironic.

I’m sure she is safely tucked away at her farm somewhere in the Friesian country side.
Sure is! For someone who loves to constantly remind us how hard she is fighting against our capitalist mainstream society, she sure does live in a nice place........paid for by money earned from the 'large companies' she whines about (whose money she is happy to keep taking in order to promote their goods). You can't make this stuff up.

Doutzen needs to be called out for all the stupids things she’s been saying the last couple of months, but I have to give her props for participating in the first big (and controversial) BLM protest in Amsterdam back in June after George Floyd’s murder, and she wasn’t afraid to denounce the racist Dutch tradition of Black Pete on national television years before that became a big thing here. I respect her for that.

Doutzen always kept her feet on the ground... I don't know what happened to her, I hope it will be a phase and will pass soon after this situation of COVID is over, and everything is back to normal. I also hope it doesn't affect her work!

Google Image Result for https://www.azquotes.com/picture-quotes/quote-the-big-contracts-go-to-the-girls-who-are-healthy-they-need-to-have-a-sparkle-in-their-natalia-vodianova-72-48-20.jpg
I had never thought of Natalia Vodianova as a very smart person but they way she called numerous of her colleagues unhealthy who have always been completely consistent in their weight, showed great energy in their work, didn't show weird behavior etc. or whatever factors that can determine someone's health through appearance . Okay, she got big contracts, she might be healthy but where's the sparkle in her eyes ?!?

Well, according to her management Doutzen is on sabbitical. So no work, social media or press. Which is probably for the good, she recently has been mocked really badly about one of her comments on social media and many people calling her hypocritical on social media.

There were a lot of Dutch participants on the streets and there were also a lot of them with other roots. All these criminals, because that's what they are, still provoke each other on telegram and tell each other where to plunder and to destroy.

I already saw some of the "awake" people accusing the goverment for sending those criminals on the streets to spread fear because that's how they control us so it's for the good Doutzen is offline I guess.

IT'S SAD.
