Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

I just checked Doutzen's youtube page and she hasn't uploaded a video in 10 months. The below is a critique of a video she posted 11 months ago:

Dutch supermodel Doutzen Kroes’ YouTube channel may only be four months old, but the former Victoria’s Secret stunner is already getting heat for promoting a pseudoscientific “liver cleanse” in which she claims she passed “tiny green stones that looked like vegetables” during 10 trips to the bathroom.

But the so-called cleanse is utter “nonsense,” says Dr. David Bernstein, chief of hepatology at Northwell Health. “There’s no such thing as a liver cleanse. It’s people trying to sell things. It doesn’t exist.”

Most likely, those tiny green stones were nothing more than, you guessed it: “Little balls of stool,” Bernstein says. “Like rabbit poop. When you eat and drink like a rabbit, you poop — like a rabbit.” (nypost)

Google Image Result for https://www.azquotes.com/picture-quotes/quote-the-big-contracts-go-to-the-girls-who-are-healthy-they-need-to-have-a-sparkle-in-their-natalia-vodianova-72-48-20.jpg
I had never thought of Natalia Vodianova as a very smart person but they way she called numerous of her colleagues unhealthy who have always been completely consistent in their weight, showed great energy in their work, didn't show weird behavior etc. or whatever factors that can determine someone's health through appearance . Okay, she got big contracts, she might be healthy but where's the sparkle in her eyes ?!?
Pretty different to what she said here.

Did anyone watch Vlada Roslyakova's stories? I am still in shock that this happened, how can someone be so childish to message her that crap? And I can't believe that she put it in the story.

I only understood the first part of the other model talking about Vlada... Then everything in Russian was lost, if someone can translate please!

nothing important in russian. Anabela Belikava joked that it is she says that

Some people of this Eastern European era fandom are very uneducated and weird. I love many of these girls but they think that the whole 2000s modeling industry was made up of the Slavs especially Russians, and many of them even have this mindset that Natasha Poly is the A-Z of 2000s modeling, is incomparable and the most successful, obsession is all I can name it. Like some stupid people sent some sh*t to Anabela Belikava's Q/A sticker from a fake account, said stuff like how she's not nice to fans, not responding messages, not liking posts, should stop being so arrogant bc she was merely a runway filler and no Poly. I see her regularly doing Q/A, sometimes even reposting tagged stories, what else should she do? Some models/celebrities are not that active on IG & it's right, it shouldn't be a priority and it doesn't make you any less of a nice person. Then later the same insane morons send her consolations through their other account and she responds nicely, a nice way of having fun on HF IG . Even if she was a runway filler, she worked her *** off doing a real job instead of your trash ways of passing time.

Adut giving her POV about the drama she had with an australian magazine interview about her

We have another anti-vaxxer model on our hands...

A lot of Elle Macpherson's ties to the anti-vaxx movement have come to light especially in regard to her romantic relationship with an infamous anti-vaxx "doctor".

I'm embarrassed to call her Australian. It's a shame people with a platform to educate use it to misinform instead.

Elle Macpherson’s new life with world’s most notorious anti-vaxxers

It is sad that there are people who do not agree with their anti-vaxx views but say that we should not be criticizing them bc they we live in a liberal society and they are entitled to believe and say whatever they want to. How are we not supposed to raise objection when these people are using their huge platform to spread misinformation about this global pandemic that has also disturbed the mental health of thousands of people, and in most cases it remains unidentified?

Why do we have so many embarrassing models in Australia? I don't know anyone like this in real life. Perhaps need to spend more time in Byron and I will find them.

It is classic foundation. She don't use own money, of course she has sponsors and she doesn't belong to IT industry. This kind of courses is very schematic, and people from IT claim it not good way to learning coding. She hires people for doing it, but she creates image that she doing something groundbreaking, but it is not true, all programming language have community only for women, they organise meeting, events and such like.

Super late reply, I was reading old pages, but what do you mean by this? Obviously Karlie herself is no expert programmer but I think the idea of her coding camp is great. You're right that these kinds of camps for girls are common (Women in CS, girlswhocode, etc), but nothing wrong with an additional community for girls, especially coming from a famous public figure who I'm sure many girls look up to and could be inspired by to pursue this field. I now work at a top 10 US tech company but as the girliest girl growing up, I initially was turned off by coding purely because of the stigma that only male "nerds" with genius IQs could do it. It was one of those camps that made me change my mind. Great initiative imo.

The image of a coder as some nerdy male is pretty outdated by about a decade, I would say. Popular movies like Hackers, the Matrix, etc., have pretty much eliminated that.

Not really. I live in the heart of it all (Silicon Valley) and it's still very much the image. In my AP Comp Sci class in high school (literally IN the Bay Area, the nerdiest of nerdiest places), I was one of seven or eight girls in a class of at least 25-30 total. I went to a college whose CS program is top 5 in the US and even there my advanced courses had like 20 girls in 100 students. I'm speaking from my firsthand experience and that of my friends'. I felt out of place, ostracized, and was looked down upon as dumb among my male classmates, because I didn't play video games (I partied instead, wore cute outfits to class, etc) and wasn't 'one of the guys'. I was considered "not as serious." In my last internship before graduation I was regularly mansplained to by my male co-intern when I literally knew everything he did. None of my nursing or liberal arts major friends dealt with this.

Also the movies you mentioned have nothing to do with the actual programming world. Just because the outside world sees males and females in tech as equal doesn't mean we don't have to struggle within it.

And for reference, I graduated last May (2020)! @Littleathquakes

Lottie Moss (Kate's sister) has joined Glow which is apparently an upmarket Onlyfans. Not sure why Storm (her agency) isn't putting a lid on this. Anyone know?

Lottie Moss (Kate's sister) has joined Glow which is apparently an upmarket Onlyfans. Not sure why Storm (her agency) isn't putting a lid on this. Anyone know?

Videos of a naked Lottie cost around £1000 and the site also claims to offer “personal content."

Lottie claims her sexy snaps on adult site Glow has made some of her family members unhappy.

She revealed in Sun on Sunday: "I've had a really s**tty day . . . I've been getting a lot of hateful comments to do with me doing Glow.

"I've had family members not be happy about it and honestly, I'm out here living my best life in LA."

She added: "I feel happier here than I've felt in a long time. I just need to feel good about myself because if you can't love yourself, no one else can."

Why is 'Lottie Moss nude photos' trending?

The Belle De Jour effect. I've always wondered why those who come from well to do families engage in sex-related work. Lottie doesn't have to do this, if she had an ounce of Kate's work ethic she'd be ok. I wonder if it's just because she's workshy. It doesn't take any sort of special skill to shoot nudes. Even if they're awful there will always be a sucker willing to pay for it. Add to that the prestige of being Kate Moss' little sister and she's got a pretty nifty racket set up for herself.

I hope Kate is not the one who is unhappy because she has done countless nude shoots over the years and even shot for Playboy.

It is a little bit strange as I doubt she needs the money but the reaction from her family is also strange. As you say Benn98, Kate has done plenty of nude work over the years and Lottie would likely do plenty as well in modelling. It is just plain hypocrisy that we think sexualised nudity in high fashion is great but we turn our noses up at nudity on OnlyFans. There is nothing wrong with consensual sex work.

There were also repeated mentions in these threads and others of the high end extra-curricular activities of many big models (Miranda being the most frequent) so she isn't really doing anything other models haven't. I suppose the main issue is just that she loses her appeal to bigger brands that have large conservative Middle Eastern client bases.
