Because Grace has been the modelling industry’s “cool” girl for what feels like almost a decade, I find it quite jarring to discover that she’s anti-vaxx and an expecting mother at 25. It’s like finding out Kennedy, who was the face of alternative MTV in the 90s, is a staunch conservative libertarian.

That's a massive shame! I always thought she was switched on.

Shalom Harlow seems to have posted some questionable thing about vaccine stuff too which is sad because she had COVID-19.

Caroline Trentini is pro-vaccine and pro-science. She posted her own vaccination pics and other photos that show responsible covid-related behavior (ie masking while travelling etc)

A lot of these models are more conservative (and religious) and undereducated than their agencies/marketing want the public to know. Most dropped out of middle school or high school whether they're from St. Louis or Stockholm or Itu, Brasil or a small village in Sudan. It made them easy to mold and put on a superficial styling as a "cool girl" but that also makes them gullible to internet misinformation. The terrible part is that they have large followings or pseudofamous. It's a perfect storm.

Is Alexina Graham anti-vaxx? She has been engaging with anti-vaxx hairstylist Harry Josh's conspiracy posts. Wasn't she hospitalized with Covid-19?

Grace for me is one of those 'almost there but not quite' type models who I know about but don't particularly care for.
So I see she's pregnant? Early spring I read somewhere that there's a huge percentage of pregnant women who refused the vaccines. And now hospitals in the UK are buckling under the rise of COVID cases involving pregnant women.
Earlier this week a pregnant woman in Birmingham who got COVID gave birth to her baby 16 weeks prematurely. So Grace posting stuff like that is particularly dangerous.

Also, getting a lot of hipster vibes from her posts that aren't fashion-related.

Interesting, I am currently undertaking NHS IVF and every woman i meet has been very happy to be jabbed during fertility treatment so I have been thinking everyone is a pretty rational bunch. Although I guess for those of us already injecting ourselves with every hormone under the sun each day and relying on scientists/doctors probably have a tendency to follow actual science rather than all the organic/natural pseudo-science. It's very sad to hear there are so many pregnant women who are risking a very unsafe pregnancy...hopefully things have improved since early spring.

I'm team nobody. Liu Jo is getting what they deserve for chasing after an influencer model when there are way better and punctual models doing the rounds, and Kendall is finally waking up to the fact that there can actually be legal ramifications for taking people's money and not delivering.

I never understood why she chose model career because she is afraid to fly an airplane . IMO all her problem due to family relationship. They are very pathological but when you rich then people don't notice it.

Exactly. A lot of people don't know the agencies are behind those vintage band t-shirts and making the girls dress "cool" at castings and interviews. Also, the agencies are responsible for telling girls which music bands, movies and books to say they like. Of course, the longer they stick around the industry then they start to learn a little about art, culture, languages (and not to use racist curse words) but nothing can replace a formal education when it comes to science, risk assessment, social sciences, writing & literature etc. You can take a girl out of Salt Lake City but you can't take her evangelical upbringing out of her heart.

I don't blame those anti-vaccine models and somewhat I find it funny to look at, especially given my experience of living in a country that produced its own doutable vaccine. While I am still waiting for the western vaccine, I am a bit discouraged to learn that as time goes by the vaccine will become less effetive as variants of the COVID-19 virus continue to evolve. As someone unvaccined, i have to be extremely careful everyday to protect myself.

Funny story about Molly Sims in the Fashion Law here regarding her advertisement for a Multi-Level-Marketing product that allegedly ripped off a trademark from another brand.

She did a sponsored ad and now may be on the hook for trademark infringement and false advertising.

In court her attorney tried to claim that the post was "legitimate commentary" and not a real ad at all.

She will not be able to immediately the lawsuit.

I'm glad she's facing legal repercussions for this - so sick of celebs and models endorsing scam products and claiming sponsored ads aren't really ads.

And she has no absolutely no reason to do any sponsored posts whatsoever - she's married to a very wealthy Netflix producer.

It’s rumored that Kendall Jenner has not been vaccinated which is why she’s wearing double masks everywhere. NYFW is requiring all models to be vaccinated. It will be interesting to see which famous models end up walking (if any).

The purchase price isn’t known; the unit was last asking $42.5 million.

The couple inked a deal to purchase the last remaining unit in the Puck Penthouses in Nolita, a condominium project developed by Kushner Cos., according the people familiar.

It's so easy for things like this to get picked up, without a shred of proof. Not walking NYFW doesn't prove any of those girls aren't fully vaccinated. Sure, it will add to speculation as to why they may have sat it out, but it isn't proof.

One thing to note, however, is that the Met Gala requires proof of vaccination and a negative Covid test prior, so at least everyone in attendance will have been vaccinated.

I should keep up more but I don't. Is there still a big fuss about vaccinations considering some people have taken them over a year ago? It is interesting the models you are mentioning because it is certainly not fear of needles or the unknown considering the enthusiasm around botox, neuronmodulators, hyaluronic facial fillers and going under the knife for things like bodily rejection of implants or fillers.
