No that was Adriana with Gisele's twin sister Patricia at worldworld cup. Gisele was on the field.

Adriana actually always says nice things about Gisele and has spoken up for her in some of her controversies. There's no rumors of them not liking each other. Pure fan speculation.

Alot of Brazilians were mad at Ale for only congratuling Lea T actually.

Oh my memory is clearly awful. I stand corrected.

What's the Ale and Lea T story? Never heard of it.

I wish more info about Natalia comes out, because many people see her as some angel....
i wish more people would see that she is just another gold digger.

I met her, and I can confirm she is cold and not at all angel-like as portrayed on some pictures. Desperate to keep up he Saint Natalia image and very "what angle is the camera filming me" conscious, that is for sure.
There has been a lot of press about her in french magazines over the last few years, in an attempt to promote that image to the french public, always talking about her charity work etc. Thanks to her new boyfriend's contacts of course.
It was also probably him who made sure a video was deleted from the internet where the late Isabella Blow says that she met Natalia and that "all she talked about was money."

Justin really loved her, I don't think Antoine does half as much and she has definitely lost her shine. Something's gotta give.
You know what they say: if you marry someone for money, you earn every cent!

So why would someone as "not all angel-like" do so much good for other people? Is there an explanation for that? If she just wanted to promote herself no matter what, she sould go on to become an actress/singer/tv personality/whatever. No one does that much good things just to promote themselves.

As to whoever met her, I personally havn't, but I know someone, who has and this person only had the good things to say about her. Yes, she may come across as distant at times, but this, as well as her being "cold" only reflects her temper and possibly mood swings. Also, let's not forget that she didn't grow up in the limelight and it must not always be easy for her to stay cheerful and smiley no matter what. Given how much she does as a model, a philantrophist and a mother clearly leaves her with no time for herself, which must be very difficult, if she needs that time. Hence distant and "cold".

And how do you know that Justin truely loved her? No one can know if he did or didn't. And, but the way, there were enough people to say negative things about Justin as well. And those people also met him.

What?

Of course they do! I have no idea about Natalia but I know A LOT of horrible people that do charity for the cool points. People will do anything to be liked, get press, get followers. It's like royalty, they HAVE to do charity, smile and pretend to like everyone. As soon as the cameras are gone, it's a completely different deal.

Displays of charity are easy when you have the money to spare, and the ability to organise your financial affairs to your best advantage. People tend to have a blind spot when it comes to charities, and don't question them - for example, whether they're a tax-avoidance scheme, or a financial front for someone paying themselves through a different source.

Even when the charity is legitimate and well-intentioned, mismanagement abounds. The public donate to charities, believing the best, but we tend to not look further into where the money actually goes, and then we find out the charity is wasting funds in all sorts of ways, or overpaying one person at the top who hasn't done much in return.

I'm not saying Natalia or anything she's associated with has been involved in any such thing - just that "charity" isn't any sort of automatic shorthand for saintliness. Charity involves money, and anything that involves money has to be completely above-the-board, or else it attracts the same underhanded people and actions that surround money in any other form. It's always worth shining a hard light on what goes on with any charity that touches your emotions. But because it's 'charity' we presume the best.

First off, I think the sarcasm here is uncalled for.

Then, when I said that no one does that much good things just to promote themselves, I didn't just mean the charity thing. I meant everything I read about her, for example the recent case of her making up with the cafe owners, who didn't want her sister in or her choosing to be the face of the Paralympics instead of the Olympics, etc. I was talking about everything we know about Natalia over the years put together, not just her dedication to charity.

You may say that all those things are done for the publicity as well. Alright, but what is your argumentation? Other than that it sometimes happens that people do good things for the press.

It's just strange that there is a person, who has done so much good and, yet, some choose to believe they're not a good person in reality because there's someone, who met that that said they were "cold". It's strange how the facts of actual doings don't outweigh a random person's impression, which is not even fact-based.

^ I remember that story but you can't blame Ale... $$$$

Some people would do anything for others to have a good image of them, to look at them and think they are amazing. (A very extreme example would be Jimmy Savile - nothing to do with Natalia of course!!!)
I'm not saying that managing her image is the only reason she does charity, certainly not, but I think that mainly the charity makes her feel better about herself. She once said that she thinks she is "consoling" little Natalia.

Does she deprive herself from anything in doing so? No. She is still with her second billionnaire, enjoying a priviliged life. Proper "giving" is something else. That is what many amazing nurses and caretakers do every day in this world - getting their hands dirty.

Before I met her, I had the image of her from reading magazines and interviews, I was really young then and gullible. Years later, I had the opportunity and I went and talked to her and it really struck me how I wasn't talking to the person I thought I knew but just some girl with very good skin hardly looking at me, with zero interest for what I was saying, but smiling left and right at the cameras, with that same "sweet smile" I had loved on so many pictures. I realized that sweet smile was a sort of act.
I found her to not be a genuine person and I have disliked her ever since even though I kept following her carreer because I thought she was photogenic.

Of course it is better to do charity than not to do it, so good for her but I maintain that the image she projects doesn't correspond to who she really is at all.

I think the reason some people turn to dislike Natalia is that they had first thought she was some kind of a super-being, then they met her and they saw a regular person with their own weaknesses, such as a desire to be liked by posing to photographers in a certain way (mind you, she's a model and that's what she's been used to doing since she was 17) or to project a certain image. I think that's what you get when you idolize someone in the first place. Whilst, if you first look at them as a regular person, then see how much good they do (as I have said already, I do not just mean charity), then it turns out to be the whole different story. Depends on the way you look at them first. Idolization always leads to dissapointment.

Also, consoling little yourself by doing charity is not a bad thing in any way- that's the reason many people do things for others in general. In fact, I think it could be the reason people aim at doing good things in general - they console their own selves. Natalia is then no different than anyone else.

And, as to nurses and everyone else, who gets their hands dirty every day, while I deeply respect people of such professions, we should not idolize them either. Not all of them take on these jobs because they're willing to do good for a small pay, many simply don't have a choice of a job.

All in all, while I do understand that you had a negative experience regarding Natalia, I think she is a good person, not just someone, who created such image of themselves. But she is a person, like all of us, and we shouldn't forget that.

I think the very important part which you're omitting here is the image she painted (or continues to paint) of herself. That precedes idolisation, imo. You don't blame the victim for being conned by a swindler, you blame the swindler for conning in the first place. People didn't just assume she was this super-being, she projected that image. And so people got angry when they discovered they've been duped by her, then even more angrier when they found out that the 'real' persona wasn't all that likeable to begin with. So the moral of the story here? Be yourself! Yes, it's a cliché, but it's exceedingly relevant when you're in the public eye. We don't live in the 50's where everything needs to be sanitised. Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell are perennial bad girls, bitchy and vain with abandon, yet it seems people love them even more for those very reasons. And they've got charity efforts. These two are of course the extreme in a way, but there was no need for all that charmed Cinderella tosh which Natalia told to anyone who'd listen.

^ so true! couldn't agree more.. and this is coming from a former hardcore Natalia fan lol (though age played into it too.. you're just more fanatic when you're younger- or at least I was!).

Bottom line is, nobody knows her.. some think she's a good person, some others think she's a gold-digger, I personally think you can be a good person and gold-digger-ish too, makes for an even more magical combo.:magic:

But mostly, I just want to know what the hell happened with Isabella Blow's video.. big internet mystery now. Who has a copy? who paid to wipe it off the internet? where are the uploaders now? *xfilesthemesong*
