Well she faded away last season already...or even the season before that...so I'm not surprised

She's doing well in Madrid! ^_^

I miss the older models like Elise, Gisele, Karolina, Erin, Hannelore, Stella, Adina, Mariacarla And Liya, as well as countless others, doing shows regularly. They just added so much life to the runway and clothes. These new models are boring (except for some like Irina and Agyness as they're interesting) as they don't really model. Watching the Dior SSHC 2007 video really displayed that. When waiting to go up on the platform, the newer models would like stand board-stiff while the models used to it would take the chance to show off the clothes. It's like they were afraid to model. I wish designers would start asking for a little more life. Give me a double turn anyday! ^_^

I agree 100%, its as if the designers have become less picky with the models or something, they just take what is marketed to them by the agencies. I miss the top models who snagged all the great covers and got where they were because of their amazing walks, perfect bodies, the girls that had amazing editorials in every Vogue like Elise, Hannelore, An Oost, all the belgians really, Erin Wasson, etc.

I'm a little sick of these Russians, they are all so cookie-cutter, I just don't see the appeal.

Random, but did you notice that all the Prada surprises/exclusives were IMG girls? Well they were only three, but still.

IMG and Women Milan completely dominated Prada. They dominate all Milan shows of course, but it was so obvious here. If I counted right together 18 of 22 Prada girls (leaving 3 Why Not, 1 Elite).

^ yes I noticed IMG is very good at booking exclusives for shows like Prada and CK..generally IMG is dominating anyway

could she be on exclusive with someone?? ^ what big shows are left??

^Versace? Dolce (But she's never walked for Dolce despite doing a campaign for them)?

Maybe she's just not there at all...

Hilary is nowhere to be seen in Milan

I knew someone was missing! I hope she will be at Versace and Paris!

As far as I am concerned, IMG and Women have been carrying the torch in the modeling world for some time already...Plus, I love IMG :p

Where are Hana, Julia and Jeisa in this season???
I hardly see them on the runway..
I really miss the old day...

^ I remember Julia Stegner suddenly appeared at Versace last season..so there might be hope

I don't think anyone would disagree with that... But I find the power of the IMG empire, especially, a little concerning for the industry. I mean IMG went and BOUGHT Art + Commerce. :ninja:

^Yes indeed...

On another note, there has been huge demand for the two Korean girls, Han and Hye -- one ruled NYC while the other dominates Milan.

has anyone noticed that there are hardly any DNA girls on runways; it's all WOMEN and IMG?

^Well, the DNA girls are somewhat scattered around different agencies in Europe...but yes, IMG and Women's dominance is irrefutable.

What is up with no Hilary Rhoda in Paris? Anyone have answers?

I was wondering the same thing...Perhaps she was on a Balenciaga exclusive?

She was at Balenciaga. Probably an exclusive?

What about Du Juan, I think she's still around Paris. She did 1 show today, and 2 others a few days ago. I mean, Dries and Loewe aren't bad shows, but she wasn't at any major shows yet. And she didn't do too well in Milan too. Is she fading already?

I hope not. She's one of my favorites and I'm surprised that she's not used more often.
