Can someone explain to me how Hanne G manages to walk in every blue chip show? I mean her career outside of runway is pretty much non existant. She could be a show girl, but even then her walk is pretty bad. How does she do it?

She's a filler with the "correct" body and feet proportions for the runway items.

What has really surprised me so far in Milan, is that Ava Smith's hair doesn't seem to be a bother, She booked almost all the majors, which is a shock to me because that blond hair really is horrible on her....

And i'm surprised about Ava as well. Not only the hair and walk are awful, but she has zero print work.

Versace was a really horrible cast. Kaitlin doesn't give off the Versace vibe at all to walk the show, let alone open... I'm glad she's very loyal with Lindsey though.

I think we have to keep in mind that Versace isn't about the bomshell sexy girl anymore - it's the rock chick with a tough edge and a little vulgarity (sensuality's not quite the right word). In that case, I think Katlin represents that new Versace aesthetic perfectly.

Still no defending Tilda, though. But I loved that Luma Grothe was there.

I agree. I never liked Katlin but her walk is strong and her energy's just tough and pissed all the time. I wouldn't mind Katya or Irina Nikolaeva opening as they're both strong walkers as well.

Katlin was a Versace exclusive (when Versace was still sexy). No surprise here at all.

I agree with Cold, Irina and Katya have that old skool Versace vibe.

I have wondered the same thing. If I had to guess I think it is her personality, I think she has a great personality and also has a genuine interest in fashion. I think the designers and backstage people like her.

I thought Katlin was a great opener for this particular collection actually. Her look really completed that outfit. I don't find this cast that bad...most of the girls had a great walk with some nice oomph to it. Compared to the rest of the shows this season that is. And can I just say that every cast featuring Senait Gidey feels lifted to a higher level? She needs some time and development since her skills are not quite up to par yet imo, but something about her fascinates me a lot. Lovely girl.

I found the Versace cast to be good actually. Katlin has a sexy edge to her that fits with the modern Versace aesthetics. Also, seeing Vanessa Axente walk for the show just made my day
