Most Underrated Model

I feel Emma Maclaren is incredibly underrated. Apart from her maxfactor contract, i feel she deserves more work.

I wouldn't call any of the (rather) new girls -like Ranya, Vanessa etc.- underrated. I mean, they just started out one or two seasons ago. Of course, there'll always be those who reach immediate fame and success within just a few months but to me, a solid career is a work of some years and built up over a longer term.
But I get what most people mean when they come to this thread and call a girl "underrated" - and it's the same with me. I mean, I adore Manon Pieto (mentioned by cologne_rocks) but as I know that she just started, I wouldn't exactly call her underrated. In contrast to Daria Pleggenkuhle! Who has been around for quite some time now but never really took off...

I'm sure in due time her's will get better it just seems at the moment Russell Marsh is the only one who likes her.

^It's incredibly sad but I think at 23 Vanessa is simply too old to build up a career. I'm honestly surprised she is doing as good as she is. I love her and hope she'll get the chance to show her potential.

I doubt there would be anyone who would be willing to undergo a risk with putting Vanessa into a major campaign or on a huge cover for examle. I'd lump her together with girls like Lisanne de Jong, Anabela Belikova, Andrea Stancu, Kate Somers etc. Girls that you cannot do anything worng with, owning a risk-secure yet boring look and good body. I don't like to say that as Vanessa is one of my favorite models, but i easily see why she isn't "there" (yet).... Anyway, she's some things coming up for W & British Vogue.... not bad at all, i guess

Yeah, I get what you mean Regarding Vanessa I'm probably a bit biased as I'm not her biggest fan anyway but I agree that she certainly has the potential for more, and bigger things (especially compared to some other newcomers of her status).

One name I have to bring up now again (and I know that she has been mentioned quite often in this thread before) as I just don't want to content myself with her Marc by Marc ads, is Marina Perez It's not that she's not getting any attention or work at all but she's been around for quite some time now and it's beyond me how she never "got to the top"...

I just don't get why there's almost coming nothing from those 4 ladies anymore. Well, i have a look at them and then at models like Frida, Karmen, Lisanne and i just think ugh

^ cologne_rocks excellent picks for underrated models, it is so baffling to me that these models supposedly "peaked" and can't get much work while the likes of Lisanne are everywhere. Their faces are amazing and several of these girls are much better in editorials than some models can dream. Disagree about Karmen though because she is an excellent mover in editorials + can give great facial expressions.
