Most Underrated Model

I don't think Catherine McNeal is underrated. She's everywhere what else she could have more.

I agree! If anything she is overrated!

Asia Pulco and Janeta Samp are underrated in my opinion.

Well reading through this thread it's interesting to see who is genuinely under-rated and who is under-used.
I'd say the following are under rated as models, most of them are runway staples, and should/could be used more:
Denisa Dvorakova
Kim Noorda
Alana Zimmer
Marina Perez
Iekeliene Stange
Inguna Butane
Bette Franke
Han Hye
Kinne Diuff (She's fabulous editorially but she needs a decent campaign, the same goes with a lot of fierce black models, who are Under rated and under used, but hopefully Chanel and Jourdan will change that).
Bruna Tenorio
Irina Kulikova
Kinga Rajzak

However there are girls who have had their huge buzz but didn't live up to it (or couldn't maintain it) so I don't think they are under rated so much as they have been over-exhausted:
Anna Marija Urja... (you know the rest)
Celcilica Mendez
Georgia Frost
Leah De Wavrin
Melody Woodin
Bette Franke
Vivian Orth
Laragh McCann
Katja S.

Sadly I don't think these girls will have a huge resurection in their careers, but they're still young so hopefully they can have redemption.

Then there's girls who have had their hay day and now they can just turn up at their will now and then, doesn't mean they're under rated just under used at the moment:

Eugenia Volodina

Iekeliene, Behati, Marina, Kim Noorda, Romina, Sheila Marquez (not sure about her) etc etc have not worked with Meisel, therefore are not praised by the fashion industry and therefore are virtually ignored.

I mean, it seems like unless Meisel has someone to do with starting your career up, you've got no chance.

The exception is Freja Beha - who is literally the only model of late that has been ignored by Meisel but has become successful. But even now, her career is dwindling down.

I just came on here to mention her. How strange..Anyway, yes Morgane, people should start paying more attention to her again I miss her editorials.

Romina has worked with Meisel shooting a Mulberry campaign with Heather Bratton but thats the only time I think, sadly she didnt become a favorite .
But she is def underrated

Marina Perez is brilliant, and should be up there with the best, but people seem to forget that she's had her fair share of success during the past 3-4 years. Campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Hugo by Hugo Boss, Moschino, Just Cavalli, Alessandro Dell'Acqua, D&G, Loewe, Bvlgari...

I agree that she's underrated these days, but that wasn't always the case (though she definitely deserved more covers). You can't really ask for more than a few successful high fashion years, even for an exceptional girl like her.

As for Kim, who seems to be mentioned in every other post here, she's lovely and I'm always happy to see her, but in all honesty, she doesn't have much range or depth. Her relative lack of editorial success is perfectly logical to me.

Iekeliene was in the "Sensory Overload" Vogue Italia edit from february 2007 shot by Meisel.And I think Marina was in the Dolce and Gabbana campaign shot by him FW06.And someone already said Romina.

But alas ,they never became favorites of his.Just the girls he uses once or so then moves on(like Daiane ,Olya, Anna Maria,Suvi etc.)

I agree about Marina, I wish she was used more.Agree about Kim too ,she doesn't strike me as a versatile model ,despite being very beautiful and unique.

There are some girls who had their Meisel break a little while into their careers.Iselin was working in 2005 but didn't have really any Meisel edits or covers till 2006.Liya was around in 2000 but didn't get a VI cover till 2002, and had some campaigns by him that year too.It all just depends I suppose.

Or look at Lara.She was modeling for 10 years and only within the last year or so was shot by Meisel.Of course her getting into more high fashion jobs was due to her switching her agency ,but whatever.

Yasmin Warsame (although I've seen her quite a bit this last SS season)
Daul Kim

I think they deserve a bit more exposure and features in ad campaigns. I've seen Daul in several editorials and she's amazing! She should be following Du and Hye in some major ads, imo.
