Prada F/W 08.09 Milan

Those shoes are like a portrait of Nicolas Kirkwood and Terry De Havilland's love child painted by Salvadore Dali.

I have to admit, as much as I hate the majority of the lace pieces, that rear shot of the lace panel on the a$$ of the skirt is right up my alley. Too bad it wont be sold as is.

I AM MAD ABOUT ACCESSORIES! whoever designed them is bloody genius! love every bag, love every shoe, love those hot shades!! i love it all!

The more and more I see it, the more I love it! Everything is just perfect! The first few pieces are definitely my favourites! The setting and casting is sublime as well - compliments these clothes very well!

Bright Orange Lace. I never thought I would see that.

I really like the bags. Some of the shoes are a bit out there for me.

The collection is ok. I guess it will grow on me like SS08 which I love now.

I'm really starting to hate seeing the models with no makeup. I get that it's the clothes we are suppose to be looking at but half of them look like zombies.

very paradoxical collection, I like the elongated forms, interesting color combinations. the only bad thing is that it's too much lace in this collection.

the simple nude dresses are nice but the doiley/curtain ones are barf

uhh.. hah. no idea what to say....

i love some of these pieces but a lot of this is very disappointing.. i loved the last two seasons and had high expectations for this one but it just is... =\

I only like the bags.
Pardon my "french" but this collection is sh__. Even Rodarte was better than this.

I adore lace for some reason so I'm loving this right now, not my favorite collection this season but it's not in no way terrible either. And the brown-lace handbag in #139 needs to be mine!

I....I almost don't want to like this...but I really think I do. The shoes would be beautiful if the heels weren't so strange, but other than that, I really like this. I don't want to say I love it yet, but there is no doubt in my mind that it's better than last season!!

Everything about this collection is just hideous, the shoes, the bags, the clothes!!!
I really do not like it, and no Sasha?!?!

I really love seeing the models with little makeup. I love the fresh faced-ness and I think it really shows their natural beauty, not loads of heavy makeup.

Guys, I know I will be feeding into the usual, and beating a dead horse, but most of these pieces are genius. Sorry. I CANT TAKE. I knew Miuccia was going to bring the heat, I KNEW IT. She always does. When you think Prada, you either hate to love her, or love to hate her. There is no middle ground with her. I love the nude pieces and the pumps, but how many women could do justice to the nude? Not many. Argh Miuccia, you make me sick. Always THE diva of Milan.

this was the show i was most anxious to see in milan. miuccia does not fail to impress. i haven't really decided if i love it or hate it, but i love that she is constantly evolving and playing with different themes and ideas. the spring collection cemented a very new idea of what prada is, and i love that miuccia is always defying the very ideas she created. it keeps us in the fashion world on our toes.
the sheer fabric and peek-a-boo lace give the collection a very subtle sexiness even though the cut, lengths and shape of the pieces are quite modest. i really like the nude pieces too. this is certainly a collection i will not grow bored of soon. i'll have to keep looking over the images until i can decide just how i feel about it...
the shoes are killer
