Is the claire coleman article topic of discussion there, or just the boots?
I meant this thread to be more about the experiment, rather than the thigh high boots itself. It's the perception part that I find interesting.
It's an intricate situation: A new trend with obvious odds. How many people will fight those and be fashionably embracing this trend and how many will be fended off by the negative associations? How many positive reactions are needed to outweigh one remark in the fashion of 'ow much, doll? Will people be able to see the difference between typicly hookerish boots and the more stylish ones? Will people get used to seeing them at all?
