Anyone recently bought a topshop bikini and found they run very small?
I just received the two I ordered.....seriously they are either made for small children or girls with no boobs I wear either a 6 or 8 in most of their clothes and knickers. I ordered an 8 in the bikini....there was no way that was going over my boobs it actually hurt when I finally got it on. The bottoms were far too tight aswell!

I finally got the topshop clogs. Been wanting them for ages but my local topshop sold out like straight away. They are so beautiful and comfy so pleased with them .

You can't say that about all Topshop clothes though, sometimes they have some seriously amazing things, jackets especially. I think with Topshop though it's important to actually try the stuff on, some clothes have the most bizarre fit, some of the skirts give me gigantic hips and they reach down to my knees

I haven't bought anything in so longgg :'( I want the 3 button blouse in nude but I have no moneyz. Sigh. Was also dissapointed by the sale.

Topshop is to open a luxurious store on Brompton Road, Knightsbridge promising to stock the very best of topshops main line, footwear and accessories as well as Boutique, Unique and designer collaberations. It will also relaunch it's personal shopping service Topshop PS.

Hmm what does everyone think of the makeup? I think that it's a bit silly of them to be doing makeup in the first place. They're obviously not going to be as good quality as the notorious brands and it's just the packaging that's nice. Alssooo it's quite expensive in my opinion. Still I might buy a couple of things like the eye crayons look good.

i think some of it is stupid prices yes if it's anything like h&m make-up i will not be impressed

actually don't think i will buy any of it the packaging is cute though i will admit.

Ehh the only thing I'm gonna buy is the nail varnish, I've been searching for minty green and lavender nail varnish forever! And they don't have Essie where I live, so I think I'll test the Topshop ones out

i grabbed two of the nail varnishs after work yesterday bees knees (pastel yellow) and parma violet (pastel purple) i put on parma violet last night and i love it two coats is all you need and its a lovely colour!

also my friend bought the kohl and she said it applied so black better than the rimmel we both use, im tempted to actually check it out properly instead of just grabbing cute coloured nail varnish.

Some things in topshop are way too expensive. Its similar chain like zara, h&m etc.. but those prices! jeez..

I finally got to my local store today to check out the sale, and after being very underwhelmed by the online sale I was pleasantly surprised. I don't know about other stores but my local has tons of stuff on sale. Unfortunately I don't have much money so I could only get 3 things, those being 2 of those long-line bralets (I've been wanting one for months but they're sold out of my size in every style online) and a denim and faux leather jacket (which was quite a bargain- marked down from £65 to £15).

I haven't seen the make-up in store yet, I doubt it'll be sold in my town but I hope so. There was a video posted on Topshops facebook page and judging from the vid it looks like it goes on/applys well. Shame there isn't a bigger and more interesting range of colours though, especially in the lipsticks and glosses.

With regards to the makeup,

yeah i originally thought it seems really strange them selling it...

but wednesday morning i went in store to check it out and was VERY pleasantly suprised, bought to lipsticks, 'desert' and 'mink' and will go as far as to say i think (so far!) they are the best lipsticks i've ever used, lovely flattering colours too, 'desert' is the only nude ive ever tried that doesnt wash out my pale skin and blonde hair, and at the same time is lovely and creamy and matte. the girl that served me said it's manufactured by the same people who make MAC, which i think if this is the case, and the quality ive seen makes me believe her then the prices seem very reasonable.
Im considering some nail polishes (the electric blue is particularly enticing!) and the glitter pots.

i also may be the only one that isn't too keen on the packaging, i think the kind of naive style of it may go halfway in convincing everyone to not expect high quality in the cosmetics and that if they used a more classic packaging style more reminiscent of the likes of MAC then people would be more likely to assume they were of a similar standard.

wel that was a rant! got a little carried away there! Basically i am very pleasantly surprised
