The hair and make-up is stunning and Gugu herself is very photogenic. But that grey background needs to go because it sucks the energy out of everything.

If only this was shot during a golden hour, even though it would require a serious rapidity, this would've been one of my contenders for cover of the year.

God. Edward’s Vogue is so bad. Like...really bad.

It’s so fan boy...he doesn’t convey any authority as an editor, to me. All of his issues so far read as the work of an avid fashion lover who happens to have his pick of the litter and is living out his own personal fantasies, instead of a real editor - who is making conscious and purposeful choices with something to say. He is not pushing himself. There is no identity here.

The Donatella editorial preview is such an embarrassingly obnoxious display of said fan-boying.

Its a pity and a shame that the simple yet effective art direction that the magazine has inside is not reflected on the cover.

Don’t get me wrong though, the magazine fees like a cheap knockoff of the last year of Carine’s Vogue Paris. From the font, art direction.

I love Kate's edit and great to see Nick Knight shooting a story again.

i find punk / skins / subcultures themed editorials to be tired and 99 per cent of the time very cringe worthy, but i like nick knight's ed, at the very least he knows what he's doing.

it's also the only interesting editorial here. I love Freja but there's nothing that interests me there, same with natalie's.

Gugu's ed is terrible and she deserves so much more than that
