I know she is Oprah but as a powerhouse, i feel like it's really limited to the US (even if it's already a thing).

I'm delighted to see Oprah here personally. Finally a cover subject who's interview I actually have some interest in reading. I hope it sells well. I know August is generally a dud of an issue, but it's great to see an older woman taking the cover, looking her age (despite M&M's Photoshopping) and looking absolutely beautiful for it.

M&M are on a roll lately. Even tho I have zero interest in British Vogue, I might have to get this one for the Queen.

Tbh, when I saw this cover I thought it was American Vogue. I really don't see this as a hot seller in the UK, but kudos to Edward for shaking things up over there.

What a random choice for British Vogue. I know Oprah is known all over the world, but she’s hardly the powerhouse here in the UK as she is in the US. That being said, I’m happy to see her on the cover.

This is a real wow moment for me, I don't even notice the layout because of Oprah's elegance and that beautiful color palette. Mert and Marcus have actually done an incredible job of capturing her beauty.

Wow, what a shocker! The last person I'd have imagined to get a British Vogue cover. Not sure how well it will sell because as others have mentioned, she may be big worldwide, but she's not big in the UK. I've always secretly wished for Shirley Bassey to get a British cover.....

As for the actual cover, I like the styling and composition. But the photoshop is criminal, and her eyes look very lazy.

Well, when you compare her level of popularity in the UK to the US, duh. But she's popular enough in the UK. People loved seeing her at the Royal Wedding.

My thoughts exactly!! From Taylor to Ariana to this, it seems his entire tenure has been an audition for US Vogue which is a great disservice to both this magazine and it’s audience.

As for the cover I like it but where is some Tyra smizing when it’s needed?!

If you line up all of Edward’s covers in a row, it’s actually crazy how many of them are looking over the shoulder shots. I just realised from looking at his Instagram feed and seeing them lined up.

Taylor, GuGu, Cara, Ariana, Bella, Oprah...

He clearly has a very particular idea of what makes a cover crop.

Love Oprah and I love this cover. Not better than her first U.S. Vogue cover from 1998. But still beautiful!
