I always thought you could make anyone ‘model-ish’ enough with these great teams behind pictures but she really is helpless, what a plain girl.. but also what a drag to be Kate Moss’ daughter, Kate looked hypnotizing in the 90s, it’s a hard act to follow.. I would’ve gone to Cambridge or something instead, no way I’d do the exact same as my once surreal-looking mother lol..

My Meisel manifestations rarely miss! Fingers crossed for Gisele in the coming months.

I saw this on Instagram and instantly knew that most of you would have a field day hating it! I personally love it. It's been a great year for Meisel covers so far! Must say that it may have been better without the infantilizing bonnet, but I don't hate it. And Pat's otherworldly makeup never disppoints! The previews, again, splendid. Really nobody does studio quite like him. I hate whoever mentioned the penis, it's all I see now and it's such a good shot. The black and white portrait is simply spectacular, she looks like young Daphne Groeneveld and the pose, the hairs - it's a classic! It's all very late Sozzani Vogue Italia, 2010 and late. Steven's W Magazine contributions. So good! It'll never get old for me.

And I must say I don't quite understand the hate Lila receives, she's literally so gorgeous here. Not the first and certainly not the last model who only has a pretty face to show for her modeling career, she doesn't offer much but at least she's cute. And it's not like she's shoved down our throats like most of those nepotism girlies, she feels very lowkey. The last I remember of her was that Luigi & Iango cover for Vogue Japan and that was forever ago! So we might as well say she's merely a celebrity daughter.

This is the best she ever look, but I'm underwhelmed by the styling considering McKenna behind it.

The cover is standards Meisel for UK Vogue. I wish they can elevate the set production a little bit, considering the title is "Fashion Fantasy".

They did once or twice. As far as I know, there's no specific issue or reason why they didn't work together more...I really think it just boils down to them not having chemistry. You can see it in their pictures...it doesn't click and there isn't any magic.

Actually they did more covers for US Vogue than Italian Vogue. Also there several campaigns for Calvin Klein. After '99 there's no magazine or ad with these two involved. I refuse to belive they fight. Steven didn't worked with Gisele from 2003 (or 2001, don't remember well) to 2010. Look at Shalom in her Versace campaign or Kirsten Owen for VI October 2011. Sometimes they work together again or not. He never worked again with Cindy Crawford after 1995. Same case with Claudia Schiffer. He stop to shoot lots of girls. But he has his favorite muses, like the trinity, Amber, Kristen McMenamy, etc. I'm sure all these girls has some respect/love for him and his team, even after so long. You can see this on the Instagrams of his past muses. Also I love when he photographs girls that never worked with him, like Sophie Wilson or Carolyn Wolter. Steven is the photographer that any model wants to work with, it's any girl goal.
