US Vogue August 2013 : Claire Danes by Annie Leibovitz

Vogue US really likes to put wigs on Karlie and I haven't the slightest clue why. They rarely look any good.

^That wig looks like the brunette version of Gaga's The Fame Monster wig. Awful
But, I love Daft Punk and their latest album is nothing but amazing. So I'm looking forward at that ed, since the cover is not of my liking, same for the main ed. It is boring and dated, and it's not the photographer's fault in this case.

I agree with the tv stars comment! They are becoming more and more popular and if you look at the movies out recently I would much rather be watching my tv. Even if you don't care for Claire's personality, she is an amazing actress and kills it in Homeland.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the editorials, I might actually buy US Vogue for once.

I think this is Mikael Jansson's first editorial for US Vogue, yes? He photographed Helen Mirren earlier this year for the magazine. He's an excellent addition to US Vogue!

Oh they did it again! Great editorials so far. I adore Amber's ed, fantastic styling and photography as well. Karlie's ed is also great, she looks really dynamic.

Cannot wait to see Angela Lindvall and Christina Kruse.

Actually he's been contributing (on and off) since June 2002 IIRC.

I've been dying to see him work with Camilla again on a (proper fashion) editorial, but this one with Amber is very sub-Klein. Rather boring, not to mention that the theme was executed far better in the one Carolyn and Angela shot with Meisel in 1998 or so.

Meh.
