I'm not getting the Chanel reference at all?? This feels very very fresh to me (except the hem on the lavender dress which just looks unfinished). I love that long floral (silk?) skirt. Such a bizarre frumpy shape done in a very laid back but luxurious way. Love the kind of sporty square pockets on some of the blazers with the interesting detailing. I really hope she's not out, because she's really taking Valentino beyond. For me personally, he was just doing the same kind of pretty over and over these past couple of years, this is an evolution of that

sometimes, i do wish that she use more solid bold colours, i rmb how valentino's stuff used to be very glamourous dramatic. alessandra's stuff can remind me of high-end vera wang at times, too much chiffon to soft.
