Versace for H&M

OMG
There's no men's collection :ninja:
F*ck you, H&M Russia/Ekaterinburg

i was at my local h&m today to see if there's anything left of the collection and was surprised to find the long red dress and the purple knee-length one and a couple of pink bags. what really shocked me, however, was the bad quality of the dresses, so terrible! how on earth can they justify the high prices? i really wasn't prepared for something sooo tacky and sooo cheap looking, omg

what was wrong with the long red dress? were there threads poking out? did the material feel thin? was it ridiculously long?

Sadly, by the time i got my group got let in, there were no more leather pieces, even though i originally got there at 11pm. The bed throw was not worth it, and even though i really liked the heart purse, it was tiny, would not have held much at all. What kinda sucked was, you had 15 mins to fill up your shopping bag(s), then you weren't allowed to sort through them after you left the area, you can take it straight to the fitting room, where they take half of it away from you because you can't have it all in with you, or you get straight into the register line. They do not allow you to sort through stuff on the premises, like *anywhere* on the premises. So it was totally crazy and i could not figure out what i had and what i missed, etc. Tired. Going to sleep. If i want stuff next year, i'm going to pay someone to stand in line for me for the first 8 hours, starting at 8pm.

i got to feel the dresses in the stock room at beverly center yesterday and let's just say a regular h&m dress is probably better to the touch than these.... the mens bomber felt pretty spot on. didn't even bother touching the leathers...

Man, that was crazy. I was in the second group to go in and I had to watch everyone in front of me grab the jacket I wanted :/ so when I got in, there was just one lone motorcycle jacket left which I grabbed (it was my second choice anyways). But it was more than I expected in Portland. Some woman got shoved down and this girl who grabbed 40 something things card got declined and her friend behind her payed the 1500 bill (and she had even more stuff to buy)

ha ha ha, can you imagine what would have happened if she didnt have anyone with her to help her out! i would have paid to see that. i can't believe how greedy some people can be.

the fabric was just really poor quality and it was all wrinkled. the dress in the pictures was stunning, but in real life it looked just cheap....

my local newspaper reported on the even in Boston, MA

The Newbury Street location attracted 276 people when the doors opened at 8 a.m. Only twenty people were allowed in at a time allowing customers a fifteen minute time limit in the Versace collection.Customers were limited to purchasing two of each item.

Son Nguyen and his friends were more than prepared for the shopping event, bringing a copy of all the items on sale to make sure they bought two of each.

The six friends, who held the first spot in line, together spent approximately $10,000. The group bought items for themselves and family.

Let the chaos begin! I passed by both H&Ms on 34th. Herald Sq had a queue and lawn chairs at around 7PM. There were less than 10 people already forming a line around 9:30PM when I left the Fashion Ave store a little bit ago. There was a turn table right by the door in the front too, wonder what that means?

I thought I really wanted the men's jacket, but after Yeezy wore it, I realized that it's far too trendy for what I'm trying to do aesthetically atm. I'm all about classics and staples; no room for trendy impermanence.

hahaaha:lol: we had the same experiences
I got off around 6 from Levi's and saw the 34th st line
all i could think of was that the guys in line first would be buying that Kanye jacket:rolleyes:

on my way home from work last night, i stopped by the san francisco powell street store, and there was a line around the block...
i asked some of the people near the front (maybe 20 people back) how long they had been there, and one woman said since 1pm...
what sucks is i heard some people further back in line tell a reporter who was there the people in the front were planning to resell on ebay...

Here in London if you want the purple knee length dress, the one shouldered floral dress, or any of the fringed pieces you're still in luck - I've seem them all in quite a few H&M's that carried the line. Menswear wise there's still plenty of the boxers of of the black and white graphic print, especially the trousers.

And I'm not even kidding you, I've now seen 8 guys in the printed sleeve jacket and 4 in the black leather.

UNBELIeVABLE. 10 THOUSAND?????? They must have bought every piece to justify that price. And it's very disappointing to hear that the red dress looked and felt cheap in person. Can we say that this is probably the worst H&M collab yet?

What about Washington, DC customers?

At first I wanted that black leather jacket but after reading all those comments nawww I'll definitely pass on it.. I don't really feel like going at a random party and seeing 4 or 5 people with the exact same jacket than me. I'd rather buy something on the main line or switch for Zara or Burberry.

Sneak Peak of Versace for H&M S/S '12

There will supposedly be more denim for guys.

OH goodness, that fruit hahahaha
Yeah, I passed up on going after seeing a video of the line on Twitter. I didn't think people would show up.
