I just love the cynicism of tFS members Everyone's expecting the worst from this. I must say I'm not the least bit excited about this either. And I think the way they're promoting it won't help either. With Lanvin they slowly built up the excitement with those little video clips and BTS pictures where the collection was censored and such, that was way more fun.

H&M collections are always 'recycled' to some extend. mostly designer make it their 'best of' collection.

altho it IS odd that H&M will get FW11 designs while the 'Versace' version will still be available for the full price. but given my experience with H&M collaboration shoes, their quality shouldn't be too bad.

but i AM curious as to how identical they'll be

Considering those Versace booties are sold at 980 euro...I don't think customers won't mind if they actually buy the H&M version

I own things from these collabs, and they are indeed not the usual H&M quality. Which is the point of these collabs - not just some fancy designer doodling away while the H&M team makes the usual flimsy cotton/polyester nightmare. It's fine if you're not interested in the designer (ahem ), but why talk about something you know nothing about? That's not voicing an opinion, that's just being prejudiced "because it's H&M".

My silk dress from last years collab is the best thing I own, the fit is amazing. It's probably the nicest dress I will ever own, I certainly can't afford a Lanvin mainline dress...I'd like to of course, but I also enjoy eating and having a place to live

I did get some stuff from the Lanvin collaboration and I have no complaints about the quality, there was only one item I wanted but I did not get because of the price/quality relation and it was that fake fur brown jacket.... which I loved tho.

I'm just wondering how crazy people will go with prices in ebay for Versace, since this year I don't think id be able to go to the store myself. I think its ridiculous how much they think people is willing to pay or worse, how much people is willing to pay.

I kinda like it. It's not Versace without the tacky prints. I like that it does look like it's going to include some very signature Versace pieces.

I do think this is probably the first collection where there's not going to be too much I want for myself, although never say never. There could be some great coats yet.

i dont know any men (straight or otherwise) that would be caught dead in those miami prints.

the miami print dress for women looks awful, IMO.
