oooh....thats was so cute!!....i looved Behati...she was gorgeous in the show!!

And Maryna was just perfect for this show!!!
 
So I finally got round to watching the show....

Lara - I love her on the cover of iD, but she's so not right for VS. She looked awkward.
Candice - Amazing. Looked gorgeous and avoided all stupid arm movements.
Rosie - I love her. She managed a few odd movements but the kisses and waves were quite cute.
Marisa - Ok, not the best walker but improved on last year.
Maryna - Perfect for VS, just the right balance of fun and sexy.
Adriana - No no no no no no no. Please go away.
Alessandra - Nice overall, didn't overdo it and looked amazing considering. One of the best smiles of the show.
Heidi - Surprisingly good.
Julia - Classy as always, but felt sorry for her with the huge wings!
Isabeli - Not wow, but still looked pretty. Definitely a staple of any VS show. Same goes for Ana BB.
Erin - Perfect for pink! Gorgeous smile. Same goes for Anne and Edita.
Abbey - Um scary. Reminded me of the squirrel out of ice age.
 
Is Heidi lead angel at this time?
I'm not just asking because she seems to be the 'hostess' of the show for 3 years already, but also because she arrived in the car saying 'Angel 1'.
 
Kind of Kind of not...when it comes to the show yea, she's back and lead angel...throughout the year when she doesn't really do squat for Victoria's Secret Adriana is.

*by the way i love how everyone attacks Adriana for being "over the top" and yet she was one of the most calm this year, it was mostly the high fashion girls blowing the kisses and "pumping" the crowd, and as for Adriana leaving...she's VS's pride and joy she's not going anywhere anytime soon*

Plus, I think you're kidding yourself for an official confirmation, we never got one for Izabel, so I doubt we'll get one for KK...I think they'll pretty much assume, if she's not listed anything, no appearances where all the other angels are at, no commercials and etc, I would think they'd think "Well common sense would tell them she isn't" like I said, she's not quite famous enough to released an official statement. But only time will proove the doubters...There are several upon several things that point to her no longer being an angel, but one of the biggest for me is that she was actually CUT from the Christmas commercials, that's quite the big deal.

While you may be right about KK being cut, there is no way that we wouldnt hear about it somehow.

Her name is still big on the NYC social scene and she is still a big name in the fashion industry. If she got cut there is no way we wouldnt read about it in the Post or other NY gossip/fashion outlets.

Plus she was just named the sexiest woman by E! and remember she has a movie coming out. If she got cut we would hear about it somehow during some of her upcoming publicity. The girl has a good agent, remember she was on Leno (he seems to really like her btw, as much as he does Heidi and its known the he plays favorites) several times as well as Oprah and other talk shows. People know who she is. So while we havent heard anything yet, we may get confirmation soon.

ETA: I mean hell, if they report on the fact that she has no belly button, there is no way they wouldn't report on her leaving (getting dumped is how they would spin it) VS.

Well considering her contract ended in the middle of the year and we still haevn't heard anything....I honestly doubt we will now.
All in all I'm sorry to be brutally honest but she is NOT that famous I'm sorry. I could ask 10 people and I'd bet none of them no who karolina kurkova is. Now most people will know Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, heck even Adriana Lima, and Gisele but not many people outside of the fashion world even know who she is nor do they care. Adriana had the same agent as KK did and they didn't do much for her, her getting on Leno has nothing to do with her agent, it's VS's choice on who to promote on what exact show when it comes to VS promotion, and while she got the top spot on the E! list, I believe the list is totally bogus, and is totally bought. She's never been on any list really before, she's ranks low in most sexy polls and etc and then all of the sudden the year she dissapears and is known for "not good healthy habits" she becomes the sexiest woman....please spare me, and they might want to try and sell that to people that believe it. Also her getting press for not having a belly button doesn't mean she's famous enough for to get that kind of attention it's because it's weird and kind of gross....people were amazed by it, not be "OMG karolina kurkova she's like so gorgeous and she has like no belly button" I'm sorry, no. Also if she was so famous to be on Oprah she wouldn't have been a runway model on there, if she was as famous and people like to think she would have been a guest like Heidi, and Tyra.

She's been an angel for 3 years and in those 3 year she hasn't become that well known to the public, so they aren't going to spend money on coming out and saying why she's leaving. Now, if it was Heidi, or Adriana they would because they are very famous in America, KK not so much. Sorry to be brutally honest...but you're waiting on a purple sky.

Enough is enough, CC. Please stop attacking Karolina in every. single. post. It's relentless and truly unnecessary.

To say that she isn't as famous as Adriana is surely fair. Because she certainly isn't -- if we're talking about the 15-24 age bracket or if we're talking about the readers of MAXIM magazine... But tell me, how many VOGUE covers has Adriana had? How many times has she been photographed by Meisel? Demarchelier? Mert&Marcus? Testino? etc. How many times has she been invited on Oprah, Leno, or other talk shows? Or won a "Model of the Year" award? How many times has she appeared in a campaign for Chanel or Dior or Louis Vuitton? How many times has she walked for Gucci or Prada or Yves St Laurent? Did Anna Wintour ever call her, "The next supermodel"?

Yes, Adriana is insanely hot. But Karolina has had so much more significant a career as a MODEL, that your attacks are not effective so much as they're sad.

STOP it already.

yes, I know karolina has had more of that...but my point is that doesn't make her more famous to the public. Which makes vogue does not get you attention in the public eye, which she would have to be to get the public leaving notice you guys want to accept she's not an angel. As for Adriana for example has had many things that get to the public The top selling issue of GQ in five years? Her follow up issue drew a record number of hits to their website? Askmen's top girl in 2005? On almost every sexy list E has ever had, not just 1? Opened the fashion show 3 times? Have a maybelline contract worth millions? All these things push her in the spotlight and that's why the majority of the public would name Adriana a supermodel way before they would KK...is KK a supermodel in the fashion industry certinly. Is she a great model? Yes. But supermodel to the public and what the term means to most people, she's not.

Also Anna wintor doesn't need to name someone the next supermodel. Supermodel to me (and to the majority of the public) means someone who is a household name which is Heidi, Tyra, Gisele...Adriana close behind and Alessandra right after, Karolina is not.

Also I'm not attacking as much as I'm getting attacked. I've been a fan of VS for many years and I'm stating that I know how the company goes and I can tell you as one of their lesser known models she's not going to get a press release statement that she's gone. In the public's eyes she's not any more well known than Izabel was and there was no release on that. I'm telling you how the company will do it, and stating my opinon or correcting someone in which I know a bit more about the company I'm sorry is not attacking a model. I quite like KK, I'm just telling you that she's not as famous as some may think, is she famous in the fashion industry? yes. Is she "famous" outside of the industry? No. I'm honest enough to know that popularity gets you on lists, and with her lack of career this year I'm honest enough to know she didn't get on it fairly and beat some of the most famous actresses and supermodels in the world right now. I can like a model and still be honest about it.

Also in no way does me speaking my mind contend to someone sending me a PM about get over myself...I'm sorry so speaking your mind and being able to see past the bull crap which is sometimes this industry means I'm full of myself. No I'm sorry....contacting mod to erase this...I must learn my lesson everyone can be as jaded as they want but when the truth is faced to them they don't want to hear it.

Anyway, above all I actually like KK, but I'm honest enough to say she's not famous enough to get the press that people think she's going to get for leaving VS. I think she's a great model, and fits the blonde bombshell and I don't see why VS would be getting rid of her, unless she wants to focus on other things. I don't think they're really is any other model out there that can bring the sophistication that KK does bring.

well I kind of have a backwards way of doing it so it doesn't take as long. Hun if you ever need any kind of GIF of any video just PM me I'd be glad to make them for you. That goes for anyone else too.

Would anyone like me to animate any of the other VSFS's? I've actually thought about doing the 2003 one for a while now....

Karolina doesnt really have a commercial face but Adriana does which is probably why KK will never be as famous as Adriana but Adiana doesnt ahve a very highfashion style which is why she'll never be as famous as KK in HF. :)

I actually never knew who Adriana was until i started liking VS 3 years ago, while i knew who KK was already. I would say Adriana is only more recognizable to the male half of the public as that is where (generally) their interests lay...
 
I'm really strictly speaking of the american public, where VS is based and the info would be released :)

In America Adriana is by far more famous, and in most countries Adriana is more famous. Male population or not. Famous, is famous and in the general public who thinks a supermodel is a household name...that's what counts.

EXACTLY!!! I'm just saying to get a press release She would have to be more famous to the public, because that's what press releases are, they are to go to people who can publish the info aka magazine and etc and most people would read about KK and say "Who" as opposed to Adriana they would. I'm saying as a majority of people who think of supermodel as a household name, they would say Adriana is. Both are famous but one inside the industry and one outside the indsutry. Adriana has done about as much high fashion which is a bit, as about as equal to as much commercial KK has done :)
