seeing the pics laid out like that in front of me, i can definitely see a pretty dramatic change since last year. i'm starting to believe that her SHOOTING contract with VS ended months ago -- perhaps she was just contractually obligated to finish out the year in terms of promotions/doing the show, etc. it's the only explanation i can think of as to how she's let herself get out of "supermodel" shape. obviously, she's still gorgeous and certainly above average ... but very different as to what she was.

the 2nd pic in 2002 ... that's THE BEST body i think i've ever seen. not just "above average" ... but ABOVE a typical Supermodel.

and even last year she looked astonishingly good.

Exactly her contract would have ended around March early April which is when she started um Chipmunking....is that a word...well I'm trying to get around the subject you know lol

I still honestly wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't pregnant, it will take a few months of her growing to really say she's not for sure...esp since it was the bottom of her belly that was poochy this year, and that is wear your belly stars to grow in the first few weeks of pregnancy. But wouldn't be suprised if she is, won't be if she's not

I have to agree that in 2002 and 2003 she had the best body I've ever seen on a supermodel...like I said I love Dri but she gets beat by KK in the wasit department in those years.

i agree about the waist department! i've always thought karolina had the best body out of all vs models, cause she had legs and very feminine figure..on the other hand i don't really like adriana's body because she's so straight-waisted..but i noticed she was just a bit skinnier this year wasn't she? she looked better imo

Adriana has the perfect body IMO but her waist would be her flaw in her body. She is straight waisted. But yes she was about as thin as she was in 01 this year. She's back to her natural body she had some personal issues the last 2 years that really got her off track and now she's back and back to the body that made her famous

Exactly either that or she is pregnant. Because she's always preached about staying in shape and etc. I guess we'll be able to tell in a few months which one it is.

i liked her this year more than any other before... as well as alessandra... though ale's legs are still toooooo short

but, TBH, adri is the main VS gal now, and i'm happy for it.

I personally liked the intro/first segment as well as the "Modern" one. They started the show nicely with the introduction of the models...they all looked amazing and glamorous, it was hard not to get even more excited for the show!

Adriana was especially beautiful (Ale a close second) there. She had a great intro and opened the show really well. Fierce enough without being over-the-top, unfortunately unlike some of her appearances in last year's show (or was that last, last year's?).

The "Modern" one was good too, Ale looked amazing (great shots and entrance!) and the stage did as well. I also loved the song.

However, I think it'd be better if VS:

1) Didn't get models like Lara Stone, specifically. Unfortunately, even if you're going for uniqueness and variety, they still don't fit in with the entire scheme of the show.

2) Got at least one suitable Asian/half-Asian model, if ever just to represent that market as well as establish VS as a more global brand (particularly to or for Asians).

3) Used a real runway! I didn't really like the fact that they used a stage set-up. Like my friend said, "It looked more like a concert with models rather than a fashion show with performers!"

4) Improved their music? There were some good songs but I think they've done a bit better in the music department in the past and can still improve even further.

Usher's butt, but ppl started to make nose when she did..her walk was confident,
sexy, and strong like 90s supermodels...I had a feeling that she was really going to do VS and i even said it 2 myself when I saw the Herve Leger S/S 09 show...but it was her walk that made me fall in love w/ her (Versace S/S 08)..n e ways I loved her there and she needs to def. do more high fashion shows..because im not ready for her to become a full VS girl..

Actually, I think it's the workouts that she's been doing (the boxing) that has made her look a little masculine because she does have a waist somewhere under all that muscle. Even when she was at her lightest (which I don't think she is right now, but close!) she was still curvy. I wish she would stop working on her arms, too. But I love how no matter how much she physically changes she still has her butt and boobs. Not many people can say that!

i might be the ONLY one on this forum, but i didn't like maryna at all @ VS.. earlier before seeing the pics or knowing who was going to be in the show, i was thinkin to myself, wouldn't it be weird to see some total HF models in the show?! and i remember i thought exactly of maryna and lara, and i thought "linchuk/stone on VS' runway?? err...NO!" Not that VS shouldn't cast HF models, but i don't know, who are we going to see next on that runway? Maybe Sasha in a hot-pink fur bikini??

Julia i agree with you about maryna.
she can act like a veteran and pretend to be the only one on the runway, but her abdominals are less toned than those ones of the models with 2-3sons.
