Oh guys Im so happy to finally be a member! So I can talk to you all and thank you and discuss things! So much fun! Hey about the comment somewhere far back that the orchestra not doing anything.
I dont agree on that, sure they could have done more on some songs but they played during Babalu and the intro to the Goddess and Modern section, and they played during the last segment. It was cool to have them there too, it gave it more of a glamourfeeling!

Well, it's just not because of her abs (i've noticed she kinda had a strange tummy, but i'd give her a break because of her legs ) but yes, overall she's a high fashion model to me, like lara and abbey lee (what the HELL was she doin on that runway?!) and i just can't "get" her as a vs model..don't know why..and i think that maryna, abbey and lara, most of all, are absolutely gorgeous, totally my idea of beautiful..

Well, I think he was really singing live if you were there and in the audience, but I don't think any of the music on the airing of the show was what was being played at that moment in time. They probably dubbed all the music over itself. If that makes any sense. I know in the beginning when Usher was singing "What's Your Name?" and "Yeah" there was a transition in between the two (which was seen in that first video that leaked) that they edited out and made it look like it just switched right into it. I'm pretty sure he was singing live though.

Ok sorry. Well I thought they were playing it looked real, fooled me . I play music aswell but I thought it was real, sure Usher had playback you could hear it very clearly but he sang aswell, but meant the orchestra. Oh well it looked and sounded good! . But sure I agree with vivaglam about the music being dubbed over, because in the 2007 show when Michaela was about too walk out you can hear the music starting and when she started walkin the music started again, played over

No he wasn´t, just because he says "Hey" in the begining or whatever in his 2nd performance doesn´t mean that he was singing live. you know, some "live" performances that I are made for shows like this one, are made to look like it´s really a live performance, they made it in the studio, he/she knows when are the moments to say "Hey" & that´s it. believe in what you want!

i have to respectfully disagree, Filipe. i think it is so utterly obvious that Usher was singing live and was NOT lipsynching. he was sweating like Whitney in her crack days, and he changed the lyrics up and everything. now, i know you'll just say that it was all pre-recorded, including the altered adlibs, but i think that's entirely bogus. however, i could certainly be wrong. but so could you.

my opinion is that it WAS LIVE. your opinion is that it wasn't. i suppose there's no way to know with absolute certainty unless you confirmed it with either Usher or a producer of the show.

^ but be honest? was there ever an artist on the show who was lipsynching? Seal was singing live last year also JT in 2006 and Ricky Martin was also live. And Usher was also singing LIVE!

there is a huge difference between actually being at the show and watch it on tv.
same thing as seeing a real concert and watch it later on dvd it's just a different.

Like I said: I haven't seen any artist on the vsfs who was lipsynching.
So unless you were at the show I think my friend can give a better identification on if he was singing live or not!

I agree, HighMaintenance, I can't think of another band that lipsynched on the show. Perhaps The Spice Girls, but ... well, I'm not certain they actually count. haha.
