Even Willy is delivering this month (although the colour pictures are a bit unnecessary, I would have gone with a full bw editorial).

My only problem is with the layout. It is indeed a deja vu and their graphic designer is the one to blame.

Photography wise, it is a great issue. Probably the best of the month regarding European Vogues. I'm not a fan of M&M usually but this is a good non-pretentious editorial.

I wish Faretta had more energy. I love bw editorials when done right but the model has to deliver something. She looks quite dead there.

That editorial is really quite something I like it even more that the story they did for the April issue last year which was gorgeous as well, both were style by Marie Chaix. They are at their strongest with these type of "Guy Bourdin on acids" type of eds, it reminds me of their early work and it just feel so true to their essence.

Don't mention Bourdin's name aloud, lol. His son may come for M&M if he detect the vaguest semblance of Guy's aesthetic. Ask Madonna and Mondino.

Although, maybe that could be a blessing in disguise.....
