Me too!
I was so excited since Daria/Meisel have always been one of my fave combinations. But alas it isn't her.
It's definitely different and interesting...but it looks cheap like something Vogue Korea would do.

Overall: not exactly mind-blowing but probably the best VI cover in a long time.

BUT, what excites me the most about this is defenitely Kirsi being part of it That expression/ pose of hers is just downright perfect.
Not to mention what a great achievement this is for her.

Kirsi is simply the thing that appeals me, because i can't say the colour, background and scene is interresting. But Wow Kirsi... her expression is captivating, the HQ is going to be breathtaking, i can't wait.

i like Daria and Kirsi's pose on the cover but my eyes just keep on heading
straight to that gray backdrop screaming emptiness behind them. this is just
about the most disparaging use of "Glam" since for me nothing on the cover
translates to this word; there just seems to be something lacking on it. plus
Kirsi looks almost half asleep and Daria horribly looks like Abbey Lee.. but i
suppose it's just the angle

i kind of like the cover but it is kind of boring too... i think it is Meisel thing... maybe he should retire for a while... I would actually like to see some other photographers doing major works for VI... and I think VI themes and the whole topicality is a bit ridiculous... I don't know... not inspired at all...

I heard Daria's name before. But I didn't know what she looked like. I just realized that I had seen her at some of the F/W '10 shows...but I thought that she was Mirte Maas.

I do like the cover, however I feel that to choose Kirsi and Daria out of all of the new girls is a bit lazy. There are other stand out girls from the past two seasons that have worked hard to get noticed. I bet you these two, esp. Kirsi will be overrated in 5,4,3,2,1.

Would've preferred to see Anna De Rijk, Dorothea, Lyndsey Scott, Sedene, Ming Xi, Shu Pei, Patricia or Mirte would've been my choices. But I'll definitely settle with Hind and Joan in the main ed.

Well, Daria has done hard runway duty since 2007. Without getting any recognition until very recently. I really don't think any of the girls you mention are more deserving.

Not that there is such a thing as "earning" a cover. But if anyone has worked hard for this moment, it's Daria.

A lot of new girls fade in a couple of seasons, so I don't think it really matters who's on the cover because I doubt any of them will have staying power like models from the past. So let them shine now when they're in because before long they could be out.

I completely agree, I think after so many seasons not getting the work that she should have .. I am glad to finally see her getting the recognition she has worked oh-so hard for. Definitely a great career move for her and it's paying off very well.

I am so thrilled at newbies on the cover. I love Krisi and while I am not a huge Daria fan she is working it.

The cover is striking, the gloves somehow reminds me of Dec. 2005 with Sasha on the cover.
