There is something very late 70's/early 80's Glamour Calendar about this shot and that's not a bad thing. Liking how they have gone away from the close up shots and Lara is perfect here.
Hope the contents are something special too.

I love the cover, it somehow has a Hitchcock vibe, sexy, sultry, strong! And the departure reference is just brilliant!

What bothers me slightly tho, is the fact that some people here complain about the repetitive use of the established girls, yet when Meisels shooting new faces for VI I read comments such as 'no expression', 'lifeless' etc for pages and pages.

I guess you can't have both, personally Ive hardly seen a new faces image/editorial with Darias depth, Laras sensuality or Sashas libertine.
It comes (and has to come!) with time and I actually find it to be very enriching that these two magazines provide the stage for both concepts.

I just can't bring myself to like this. It's just tacky. That plane looks so stupid on that cover and I don't like the the styling at all. I don't even like that Haider Ackermann dress in that shot. Awful cover, IMO.

The first Vogue Paris issue that's 100% done and approved by Emanuelle Alt, so great use of the photo because Lara is watching Carinne Roitfeld leaving Vogue Paris for good! Good transition! GREAT cover!
Now if the issue is bad, the person to blame completely is Miss Alt!
Hope that now we see more models that the ones we have seen from the past issues since February!
