I actually love how VP is using only the best and known models.

wow, the preview looks really good,all the girls look stunning, the main ed reminds of the LA ed from W from 2 years ago, love the colors and the cast, nice to see Natasha is back, her last ed was also the collections ed in february with Lara.
...only Daria is missing
Geraldine is now editor, i think Alt appointed her in april.
and i see Suzanne Koller's name in some of the previews, will she be working for VP now, i now she's the fashion editor for Self Service.

Wow, that main editorial looks really good. Probably the best Inez & Vinoodh ultimate collection photography on Vogue Paris... ever! Emmanuelle should keep producing these type of issues. Hopefully Raquel will get a Vogue Paris cover soon also.

This cover looks pretty good! Nothing personal against Lara, but her face always bothers me in her work. Other than that, it's really good.

What bothers me slightly tho, is the fact that some people here complain about the repetitive use of the established girls, yet when Meisels shooting new faces for VI I read comments such as 'no expression', 'lifeless' etc for pages and pages.

I guess you can't have both, personally Ive hardly seen a new faces image/editorial with Darias depth, Laras sensuality or Sashas libertine.
It comes (and has to come!) with time and I actually find it to be very enriching that these two magazines provide the stage for both concepts.

All this is not bad per se, I just don't like the direction this magazine is taking. It's now just a high fashion womens magazine with no interesting touch. As much as I disliked VP under Carine during her last months (always the same stuff, sometimes a bit too daring and tasteless...), it had something Emmanuelle's VP has lost: a soul and a strong identity.

May she prove me wrong and define one soon.

that's a completely biased opinion.
while i agree with these girls being the top choices
there are surely girls who prove their editorial strength when
given the chance (Edita, Snejana, Querelle, Tanya, Maryna, Eniko, Alana, Olga, Magdalena, and the list can go on...)
