i really love the layout of the cover and the dark colours they used. the only thing i'm not sure about is the pose, her face also looks a little odd.

It's not bad, but the angle of her face looks weird.

UK Vogue did a better job in depicting Kate like David Bowie on their May 2003 cover.

ah they should have used Janelle Monae, the girl is an amazing artist and has a stunning face... anyway... I think the cover is ok... I just don't see how KM fits the theme... it is a music issue and a musician should have graced the cover...

I like the colors, but I think Kate looks awful. The pose/angle of her face make the whole thing look really awkward. This is Alt's worst cover thus far.

she is but it still does not make her a musician... there're so many interesting or gorgeous looking artists at the moment... Janelle, Anna Calvi, Florence Welsh... I don't know the whole list of girls who could have benefited from this and made the cover choice more relevant...
