I bought it because I feel sentimental over the fact that this is carine's last issue.

I think most of the content is alright. Although I'm shocked over how much Olivier Lalanne has in this issue... almost every feature is by him!

I am so glad Carine went out like this. She toned it down and produced a refined issue. Jansson's editorial is the best Vogue Paris story in a very long time.

I just bought the issue yesterday. I don't know about you guys, but her editor's letter brought me shivers to the core. Short and sweet yet worth a thousand emotions: "C'est parce que tout doit finir que tout est si beau..."

here's the letter, use Google Translate to have the english version but she says nothing special expect maybe that quote in #312 of Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz adapted by Mrs. Roitfeld (the original quote was: 'C'est à cause que tout doit finir que tout est si beau' -It's because everything must end that everything is so beautiful-)

hfgl, i couldn't agree with you more. the issue is so schizo and scatter-brained. so overwhelming yet underwhelming at the same time. major flop for me. it'd been nice if there was some sort of best of VP under Carine retrospective with more behind the scenes, personal touches.

I bought this issue but I really dont like the cover.its the worst cover of vogue paris and all the magazines I have ever bought ever.I am sad that I did not buy H bazaar US instead of vogue paris when I was in between what to buy at newsstands.The editorial of this cover is not my taste too-screenshoos and clothes are wasted you cant notice anything.I only liked Daria editorial in this issue.I should cover this issue with a flower print papers

There is a certain vacant, emptiness I get from seeing the cover on the newstand. Unexpected and a bit of a letdown, but I'll still buy it as it is her last cover.
