look, for the whole history of paris vogue under emmanuelle i remember only 1 dignified issue - september 2012 (and its more an occasion by far), then Carine just resurrected duying publication in 2001 (i collect paris vogue since 1970`s so i know the whole story of publication firsthand), Emmanuelle obtained really good heirloom but at the moment she`s squander fortune as a black sheep from a noble family... lets be real: she just can`t afford that position- editor-in-chief, it`s not her place

Ok ... So first of all, this looks like a Vogue British (or even worse a Grazia UK cover) ...
Why not shooting Johnny Halliday, who's probably gonna die soon ... Why not Polnareff ?
Emmanuelle Alt is a big fan of music, and as a lot of people around the world, pop and rock music influence her creative work. That's quite normal ... And that's for the better ...
* and do not forget Alt's video with Mlle Agnes, covering Wake me up by Wham. So I assume she is a huge fan of Mr. George Michael.

BUT ... Even though a cover with Kate Moss and George seems right on paper, the execution looks absolutely terrible ! Are they serious ? This looks cheap and amateur ... And we are talking here of Vogue Paris, my dears, not a random tabloid or third-rate level magazine !
If we take for instance Vogue Italia Paparazzi cover or Celebs covers, they were responding to a theme, a point of view of Fashion influenced by the boom of celebrities and their relationships with Fashion's democratization or their influence on trends etc. Meisel was observing that now a red-carpet is as much important as a Fashion ad campaign
... That, there was no longer a reason to ignore it !
Here, Ms. Alt realizes probably her fantasy as a fan of Mr. Michael to have him on a cover with her model-friend Kate Moss (icon of rock, and pop culture) ... But the execution is really really bad... That can be ok in an editorial, but ON a COVER !??! Seriously ?

And as for Kate's choice, I think having more supermodels would be more interesting. We all know the story of George with supermodels in the 90s (and those girls are still relevant, today, in Fashion Business) ... So why not shoot them ?

Alt and Testino vision, here, seems sooooo not interesting and low ...

^Judging by the previews, it seems this issue is nothing to be excited about.

My sentiments exactly, and I cannot believe I'm even thinking such a thought. But then again, I do love the C'est Vogue and Bijoux sections. Plus, I cannot moan about a Kendra Spears edit.

For someone in Milan, the issue is out at Largo Treves. I noticed this particular issue on an Instagram photo, on CR Fashion Book's account, of all places.

The amount of airbrushing they have done on Kate's face is shocking to me, it seems like its way more than usual. Her face looks like she is 50 trying to be 20! Never a good look, and its sad, because i just saw a candid of her out in Milan looking glowing, and beautiful out and about in the daylight.

Tomber pour la top model would mean he's having a coup de foudre for her ...
Tomber la top model, means his sex appeal, his flirt attack made Kate fall in love with him (and they had sex, in the end) ... it's something a hip hop kind of guy from Harlem (in a French version) or a guy with a bad vocabulary and no good education would say ... it's not a correct French !! I guess it's a joke to appear young, but that's so ridiculous !

What is it even supposed to mean, anyway? Some say "tomber la veste" (ie: undressing or getting ready to fight) but I never heard it used with a person instead... Does it mean he's undressing her ????? Is it a pun???? Or is it from the word "tombeur", which would imply he seduced her????
