Yay or Nay?

I ordred this waistcoat and jacket a few days ago and received it today.

The waistcoat is suede leather, but I´m not sure if I should keep it because I already have a fringed suede waistcoat by satori. But I like the star studs. (price 70 euros)

The jacket is fake leather I really love the design but and it feels nice and has a nice shine but I´m not sure about the material because I usually prefer real leather and never bought a fake jacket before. (price 45 euros)

what do you think:flower:

I looking at the dress I have to say yay but then I see the price and my heart skips a beat!

nay, its just not worth 800$...ny's eve is just one night, and though you should look pretty you don't have to buy something that you will wear only once...and this much glitter u can only wear on next new year....

thanks for your input :)

i'm thinking that I will order it and see how it looks on me and make my final decision.

ITA about the wearing it only once part, but i've been a long time fan of alexander wang and would love to own a piece from any of his collections...even if i just display it in my closet lol.

i would get it if you could somehow incorporate it on other days.. maybe with black tights and a coat.. over jeans or leggings.. get your money's worth! :)

jaimediane, I don't think sequins with a fitting/style like that is nice. It makes sequin dresses look too circa 2000 and almost tacky. I don't hate it but I don't like it either, certainly not for $800.

actually i went ahead and ordered it, only because i snatched the very last in my size from shopbop and its sold out at netaporter, and now also at shopbop i believe. But, they have a 30 day return policy so I just want to see it on me and really decide whether i love it or not and check out the quality. i will post pics sometime this week so i hope you all will give me input then :) thanks everyone!

jaimediane71, i'm so glad you went for it. i'm not even a fan of clothes with shine or shimmer, but i think that dress is hot. and i honestly think you can wore it more than once, like what pinkprincess113 said. :)

I'm always a bit wary of dresses you can wear multiply ways...

chicandcool - nay. I find mutli-way dresses too gimicky. I'd rather buy a dress that is just one great dress than a dress that can transform into eight mediocre ones.

I´ve got the same opinion. I like 2nd version, but I´d rather buy another dress too. I wonder if versatilism is a good thing..maybe sometimes
