Zara #3

This is my favorite store and the prices are great, but the clothing is very poorly made.

I got this jacket for $70 and after a day of wearing it, a silver snap button on the wrist of the jacket already fell off. And two shirts I've gotten from there already got rips in the seam around the shoulder, after only being lightly worn a few times.

Ive just saw this in the August lookbook, it belongs to TRF collection and its another reason for me to stay away of this section. I mean I know the 90's are making a come back, but this??? :ninja::ninja: Is a mean joke isnt it?:innocent:

zara

those shoes made me vomit in my mouth a bit.
color combination is awful.
and red jeans...seriously?

m.j. my thoughts exactly.
That kind of shoes ( i refuse to belive they are back) and the cut and shape of the jeans reminded me badly to my earlies fifteen. The handbag and the sweater could have a chance separately and maybe someone is able to pull off a great look with them, which id love to see.

I don't see anything wrong with the pumps. They are classic. How are they back if they never really left? I prefer a much higher heel though.

They never left? I havent seen those tips in Zara in ages... It was all about peep toes and more rounded tip and nice platforms.

There's some lovely stuff in the store right now. Bought a 70's-esque khaki skirt and an embellished neck piece...

They never left fashion. Not Zara. Zara usually only produces shoes according to the latest trends. But for example, H&M has always kept making them. These pointy (though not too pointy of course) heels are the most basic classic shoes. But again, I'm not lovin low heels. Shoes like Louboutin's Pigalles etc.. Basic pointy heels that people have always worn. We are talking about the same shoes right?

yeah I think we are talking about the same ones.. and of course I agree with you they are classic, but a classic piece if you are 40 (and the tip is not too long) IMO, not the kind of shoes Id expect in TRF. Not even the shoes i want to see in the women section anyway. Back 6 or 7 years ago every store stock them.. so now they seem old-fashioned to me, odd and ugly specially worn by the kind of girl who would wear trf clothing. So my point is it hasnt been so long for them to make a come back. Maybe not my best explanation but Im spanish and english isnt my first language.

Hebden lucky girl! Ive been after that baby-necklace and it has been sold out here since the very begining, I love it  great purchase.

^haha, your english is totally fine. That's just it, I don't think the have ever been gone even though they were really big a few years back. But I agree, I HATE it when they are too pointy!

Does anyone know how much this strong shouldered blazer was? And what do you think about it? Too trendy? Too played out maybe? Not sure if I should keep it...

You can be lucky enough to find it on sale for 20€ but i think the original price was 60€, although im not 100% sure of the original price. It really reminds me of that Givenchy blazer and I love it  but its up to you to decide if its going to be a one season piece or you will be using it for longer, if so, id keep it Missy.

^neever mind about the blazer. Decided it's not me..

Noooo, keep it!! It's very Givenchy!!
I've been hunting that blazer! Haven't gone to Zara since the sales ended and their first fall items arrived.. maybe I should go back. But I might break the bank on those elbow patched- blazers!!
