America's Next Top Models Cycle 16-18

So I just saw an article taking about how Adrianne Curry celebrated her 29th birthday. The winner of cycle 1 just turned 29 and a 33 year old is competing in cycle 17. Ach.

^ That's that problem, none of the younger contestants are given a chance to get a contract, only the most dramatic contestants. That's why no one really takes "Top Model" seriously.

from the promo we can see that Bianca and Alexandria are already at it...as expected with that new season I can see ANTM headed the VH1 route

I'm not sure that I can pretend that this is going to be good, even from an entertainment stand point. They've brought back some people that I'd hope to never seen on my TV screen again. I don't even think it really matters who wins (although my hopeful winners are limited to about three returnees), but there are several contestants that I hope do not.

So Tyra brought back "our favorites" ??! Not so sure about that

I am not sure what the original source is, but someone over at the forums for All-ANTM.net posted that about a week ago.

HAH that looks soooo fan made

Hence, the disclaimer. The CW has not updated their site to add Cycle 17 and I've not seen that anywhere other than the All-ANTM forums. It's the cheapest (and tackiest) photoshop job they've ever done for this show. I mean, no effort went making that promo photo look professional.

Clarification: At first, I was on the fence as to whether that was real. Then, I read the excerpt from Tyra's new book, Modelland (link), and decided anyone who would write such drivel for public consumption obviously cares nothing for quality and is adept at getting other people to not care with her.
