Leila had one of the better shots. I think they eliminated her just so that she could come back in a later episode with the 'fan vote' and wind up in the finals to hype up and publicize this new (and slightly desperate) public voting aspect of the show to try and get people interested again.
I figured they'd do it with either her or Kristin since they're the two that are most well liked by the public, but since the judges don't seem fond of Kristin I think they'd rather do it with Leila and have her in the finals

why the judges suddenly bring Leila down?? i was counting on Kelly Cutrone to make some sensible decisions since the others are just BS urgh!!! well should have known something like that coming with the 'public voting' thing, people like Brittany the pig nose or Kristin the mean girl will win anyway.

I agree with you. I knew she'd be eliminated because she's the only girl since cycle 1 who has the potential to be an actual model, and clearly that's not what ANTM is about. I just didn't think she'd be cut this soon.

Further proof how criminally insane Tyra / this show has become.

I couldn't believe when Leila was eliminated and I can see how shocked she was to be eliminated, she was sure she's staying. And she should stay, at least half of the girls were much worse than she.

YES totally agree! She is bringing life back to this dying show Her first 2 shots were quite amazing as well.

Can't wait for Leila to come back. Her and Victoria are the only really high fashion girls this season (although Kristin, Nastasia, and Brittany could potentially have good commercial careers)

Really? I'd say Nastasia is more high fashion compared to commercial, i'm not sure everyone will understand her partly exotic look.

Yes - the second and third from the right have the best model proportions.

Better than most girls even in the competition, though the third from the right has MUCH better photos.
