Asian Eyes

jjbunny, I think you'd look great in pastel colors, for example, a lilac would look fantastic on you.

sw33tricecakes, thanks! I tweeze my eyebrows but I also trim the top with an eyebrow razor. It's basically a flat razor and it looks like this. Since my eyebrows are naturally light, I pencil mine in and depending on the what type of eyeshadow I'm using, sometimes I pencil them in a little darker than usual.

is it normal to have 3 creases sometimes? i have this problem very often when i would hvae one eye smaller than the other.
Yes, I think so. I have it when I was sleeping in a wrong position, it looks horrible :yuk: Anyone knows how to move the crease into it's right place? It usually lasts an hour or so.

ignore the messy eyebrows and random hair hanging in front of my eyes  the colors are really that bright (not photoshopped), mostly MAC

jjbunny- I like your eyebrows! They're a very great and natural shape.
lol thanks :P actually i barely plug them, all i did is comb them with brush :P or pick them with fingers sometimes, which obviously not working:P

btw one is better to achive those bold, dramatic, sexed-babyboll lashes: maybelline intense XXL, maybelline lash stylist, loreal double extand or any other good suggestion?!?! thanx
and why_fashion ur eyelashes look awsome

i see that people are talking about the Revlon colorstay liquid eyeliner, i've got some of that stuff too, and i've really fallen in love with it. But theres this one small thing, does it sting a little for anyone else while its drying?

^I know what you mean. I have the same problem (stinging).
Maybe it's because I wear contact lenses?

omg so happy there's a thread of this!! LOVE it!...all the girls who posted pics....gorgeous..will have to go back and examine them closely to get tips hehe...and i have that one eye creased the other not too...it's been going on for a week now = one big eye, one small eye arghh!!...will contribute some pics later...should be doing uni work atm

^I had the same thing happen to me when I went to MAC...this girl did my make up and when I looked in the mirror I was horrified lol. She put dark make up above my lids and then a lighter shade. It looks great on women who have deep set eyes or eyelids. But this one girl saw my make up and was like to her bf "I want my make up to look like that" and he gave me this nasty look like "uhh no way" lol

But you just have to tell them what works better for you and what you dont like. On special ocassions like the prom or whatever, I always do my own make up I never have someone else do it especially if I have never gone to them to do my make up.

LOL!! SO true!!..im so wary of getting these makeovers...my non-existent/hidden crease doesn't 'hold' all the colour they pile on and I end up looking like a clown:doh:

im asian and i got my makeup professionally done once too and i didn't like it too much. I think its so ironic how the asian makeup artists will try to make you look western and the the opposite with non asian makeup artists.

moving on though, my eyes aren't too small or anything, lol only when i havn't gotten enough sleep, but i think they look alot better with eyeliner, theres more "pop" to them but thats as far as i'll go, if i try any eyeshadow or anything, its like borderline whoreish. does anyone else get this? maybe i'm not doing it right but i always get the feeling that its just to much.

my MAC liquid eyeliner also stings but I don't wear lenses, so I don't think thats the reason. Maybe the ingredient are too harsh for the sensitive eye area

I hate when makeup artists tell asians not to wear too much black eyeliner cause it will make they're eyes look "smaller". but why not make it look that way?
we should accentuate our features. or at least appreciate them. IMO.
i like the cat eye look from jjbunny. very cute.

i agree with you. on both topics. i just use basic eyeliner and very light skin tone eyeshadow when wearing makeup. i used to wear lots of dark eyeshadows, but looking back, i looked very..ermm..how do i say...skankish? :yuk: its not the greatest look for any girls really. lol.
