So that's Emmanuelle Alt?

Aw man.

I kind of saw it coming though.. I think that it would've been somewhat humiliating not to give the position to Alt, whose popularity, buzz and influence have increased dramatically in the last years. But I think it's the kind of title meant to last for a very short time, from months to a handful (2-3) years.. just to reduce the impact of Carine's departure, both in the business environment and also in the magazine.. I think the people at CN must be fully aware of Alt's clear inferiority as a EIC (in comparison to Carine and probably the other people at other editions of Vogue).

So they like Vogue Paris how it is, at Conde Nast and their decision says that they didn't want radical changes. Well, let's see what Emanuelle will bring ^_^

It means more Daria, more Kate Moss, more I&V, everything that VP already had.
But I'm not against because I love some of her favorite models as well.

Oh how happy i am right now, i knew she'd get the job, like it, or lump it, she's the right woman for the job and the magazine was perfect how it was, which is how it will stay, congrats Emmanuelle!

I know many people are not going to be happy with this, but I'm very happy that it's Alt.
