it's well known that when her and Wills broke up he headed over to the US to try to hook up with some American heiress that turned him down. She just hang on for dear life, i guess it paid off, if you look at it that way.
The list is actually longer than just the American; there's Craig, Hunt, Farquahr, the girl with four last names, it seems that any girl with money and wealth or titles of their own turned him down because they didn't want to join 'The Firm'. I feel bad for William that he wasn't allowed the women he wanted because of his position but if that is the case it doesn't paint a good picture of him either. I do wonder how good a choice she is for him because she clearly loves the attention, while he is, quite publicly, the
complete opposite.
As for her style, it's atroscious and I don't expect it to change. She'll become more ingrained into that family, and will no doubt think, and probably be told, that her terrible choices are in fact good ones.
I can't see her becoming Unlce Karl's new favorite or getting Valentino to dress her. I don't think she has it in her to see the beauty in those clothes (which is just odd for an Art History major). I'm not a fan of English fashion. UK style icons, Alice Dellal, Alexa Chung, Peaches and Pixie Geldof, etc are not what I look up to, and I could never see Middleton dressing like that or even like the Jordan clones, but if she gave De La Renta, Burberry Prorsum, even Ralph Lauren a chance I think it would do wonders for her. With Lauren she could overdose on all the tweed her little Sloane-y heart desires. There are plenty of "conservative" designers out there.
