Catherine, Princess of Wales (Kate Middleton)

^she carries herself oddly, I have noticed that. I don't know if I would call it hunchback, but it doesn't do her any favors.

And I loathe that mulberry dress. Its interesting to look at her threads and see how many people come in here just praising her for existing as opposed to her older threads where everyone just ripped her to shreds on a daily basis.

She's on Vogue UK's best dressed list of 2011. In terms of the appropriateness of her choices and her influence on sales, I agree.

Exactly and the same people bash Pippa constantly while her outfits are rarely worse than what Kate used to wear and most often than not actually not as boring and sometimes even better. Catherine is a Duchess now and so far what I see is: she ditched the mini, great, she traded Issa for McQueen in term of evening dresses, cool but her style is nothing to rave about..I wish more people who posted here would go on topics of royalties who actually have style like CP Mary or CP Letizia. They are stylish, look more fresh after 2+children than Kate ever did and are always dressed appropriately and they rarely make best dressed lists.

She definitely isn't the worst dresses women out there but definitely not the best dressed either. The fact that someone like CP Mary who is almost 10 years older than her and with 4 children can dress better and appear younger and fresher is the proof.

Well I look forward seeing what she'll wear in Asia in 2012. Hopefully it will be as okay/good as her first international tour.

I honestly think the reason why Kate keeps landing on Best Dressed lists is because the media/people/both are anxious for another Diana. Because she was landing on Best Dressed lists even when had no style whatsoever (some 8 years ago). (And she probably landed on those because she was known as Prince William's first significant girlfriend. It's in the very thread thread.) If Kate gets slammed by the press for her fashion (she's not the worst dressed but the mentions more than make up for when she landed on the best dressed lists she wore wore mismatched accessories to mismatched outfits with those always constant brown knee boots...karma perhaps....), that's good too. Because they've been far too easy on her for years regarding that. Keeps her on her toes. Besides, she's had 8 years to grow into the royal role. I don't buy that she's under such extraordinary pressure to please everybody when she's had years, not days or months, to adjust.

Mary and Letizia are far more stylist and original in how they wear clothes, but they come from lesser known royal families (well, to the US). Sophie's gotten better with fashion, but she's older and lacks the excitement (once upon a time, she was being pinged around as the Diana fashionista replacement). Hence, that leaves Kate to fill the void.

I will say Kate's McQueen wedding gown has grown on me to the point that I know love it. I think it doesn't represent the McQueen label at all, and it's derivative, but despite both those factors, it is a very romantic gown and the lace detailing and embroidery is great. The rest of Kate's looks are hit or miss. Same as before.

I do think Kate has looked far more put together this year, and the stylist the royals refuse to acknowledge she has, deserves all the credit.

^ The necklace looks interesting. Wish we could see it better.

I think I like this look too. The necklace keeps it from being too boring. Attending the Sun Military Awards:

Nice to see her looking a bit more glammed up with the jewels.

The whole look is quite lovely. The best part is how the dress fits her. Love the hair and make-up too
